Girlfriend, I was right behind ya all the way, and I don't give a rats a$$ about charles tomorrow morning. Everyone else apologized, as he should have done, but never did until after the Captain chastized him!!!

If he had just admited to what he was doing, and apologized, instead of getting into this PM this and PM that, and I ignored this and I ignored that.... geeez.... sounded like a little 2yo having a temper tantrum after they got caught doing something wrong!!!

I two was getting tired of seeing nothing but "charlesandnessa" and "nessaandcharles" everytime I looked at a thread, as those two were using it for the soul purpose of running up their post counts. It's okay to do it every now and then, especially when you are getting close to a major milestone... but geez.. at least admit it!!! I guess that's the part that pissed me off. I'm sad to see nessa say she's leaving, and if he cared about her, he would have done something about it, but no... he wanted to keep up his own little pissing war!!! They really do need to get their own site if they want to carry on like that, because it just isn't proper in a public forum, and makes it harder on those who don't get to have all the internet time with each other. My fiancee always had to go to an internet cafe, and our hours are so far apart, we didn't get to "chat" online or be online together, as are many of the other couples on here. We don't need to have our noses rubbed in it!!!

roi - as for me apologizing, i didn't feel an apology was necessary about the pm's i was getting from canadalaura. as i said earlier, if she was diplomatic to start with my reaction would have been different. the reason i posted the pm's was to show that what she was saying in the thread was greatly different than what she said in pm. yet that very point i was trying to make fell on deaf ears and was ignored. apparently it is acceptable in here to say one thing in pm and then claim to have been saying something else in thread, as such was bought into by many.

so if someone wants to pm me, ensure it does not come across as rude. is that too much to ask? (that's a rhetorical question too). i will always reserve the right to place someone on ignore for rude pm's, just as i'm sure many of you would. i'm also finding it difficult to believe that any of you would have not had the same reaction had you been in my shoes. her comment about not getting a good flame war shows to me, at least, her intentions. perhaps she got what she wanted.

as for my posting 15 topics in just over a 90 minute span of time, yes, that was wrong. pardon me for stealing someone's thunder. yet those making the loudest noise about it seem to have made a few mistakes in the past too it seems. i wonder if they were berated for their "oops" as badly as i have been? (rhetorical). indeed, some here have persecuted me with with great relish and zeal, obviously enjoying the drama.

i will be open to advice from anyone here but not when its given to me in a rude fashion, or when someone acts "holier than thou" when dispensing such. it's one thing to offer friendly advice in a pm. what i got did not meet that defintion. also, was creating a thread necessary? (rhetorical) was browbeating me with the info while doing one's best to make that me look small for personal and public enjoyment for all to see necessary? (rhetorical) and then i'm asked to apologize for this public spectacle? (rhetorical)

i make no apologies about defending my point of view from the feeding frenzy. what's amazing to me that the bashing that occured of me was ignored, and how everything i could have done wrong was magnified and carried on about for hours and hours. many things are obvious to me now - and it's not what was said, it's the message between the lines. a very obvious "stfu charles we don't care to hear from you."

roi, you mentioned posts here and there by both nessa and i. i just checked such earlier and i'll upload it to this thread for viewing. the total of my posts and nessa's total 111, your posts alone are 102. personally, i don't give a hoot who posts the most. apparently some do. ya'll fight over that one. to me it just seems to be another thing people can complain about.

it also appears that according to a select few on here, i can't do anything right, as your comments just further my belief that myself and nessa are unwelcome here, and nessa already has that idea and is gone. some here should be very proud of themselves for that. she was not the one who posted 15 threads in just over 90 minutes, yet she got drug into the mud. bravo! those who did such should hold their head high with pride for that!

I know you don't particularly want comments, but the first thing you probably don't realize about this site, being new as you are, is that this will invite them.

You got a PM you didn't like. You got told stuff you didn't react to nicely. You got it back in spades. Instead of 1) responding to the PM and keeping it private, 2) putting people on ignore and dealing with it yourself, 3) accepting with grace that a group of members of the forum had a request and it was a GENTLE attempt to correct your behavior, apologize and move on,

you perpetrated as much if not more drama as you're accusing others of doing.

Do you honestly think this was a calculated plan to drive you and Nessa off the site? Doubtful at best. It was a group asking you to change and to which, until you got asked by the admin, you were rude about.

As for Nessa being 'dragged into the mud', YOU had as much power to stop this as anyone else and YOU didn't put her first either. Don't castigate the group for this unless you take your own share of the blame.

I gotta say, the more I think about it, the more angry I am that I apologised to you yesterday. And now I officially rescind it. I'm not sorry. You don't get to rant like a self-indulgent spoiled child and demand that no one respond, or if one does, one is perpetrating drama. And for you to think that this is all some great consipiracy to get you both to leave...well guess what? Neither one of you is that important. Neither am I, neither is any one particular person here.

I thought Charles was conspicuous by his absence today - obviously not Cerise - just feverishly pm'ing you!!!!

As I said yesterday (and will say again) -- MUCH worse has been done to me at other forums than what was said to either you or nessa. If what was said yesterday makes either of you leave, then I'd grow a thicker skin before ever trying to post on another message board.
