Haven't had enough of the USCIS

G'Day All,

Well one would think that after going through all the K-3 visa and the green card stuff and the horrid interviews etc LOL that you would never want to deal with all that sort of stuff again. My husband and I must have rocks in our heads or something though because we are going to start dealing with these people again LOL. We have made a decision to do an international adoption. We are going to adopt a little girl from Russia. So our visa journey starts all over again I am sure that we MUST be CRAZY or maybe the years that have passed have made the whole experience not seem so daunting after all. Anyway wish us luck as we start a new process.

That's great though! One good thing is at least you will be together to support each other during this new process. We have discussed adopting from India in the future if we can afford it or are in a good situation to b/c of hubby being from there, he can teach them about India even though we'd be in the US. Not sure if it's definitely in our future but it could be.

WOW! Thanks everyone for the support. I can't believe how many other VJ families are thinking of adoption down the track. I hope that I keep my sanity during the whole process again but as some mentioned Jim and I are together doing this now. Our home study is complete and I can't wait till we are able to go to Russia and bring our daughter home with us.
