The question is applicable, so N/A is not a good answer. You don't have an A number yet so write "none".

Thank you "pushbrk" :D Yah, I realize that's not a right answer.

Can I have another question... I hope u don't mind... please....

Applicant's residence last five years. List present address first..... I FILL THAT UP,

THEN in Applicant's last address outside the United States of more than one year... Do I need to write what I write on applicants residence last five years or I will just leave that blank??? Because I'm here in PI and never been in USA ......

Sorry if my question is kinda confusing...

Sorry.

From what I understand, you are living in PI and have never been to US. In "Applicant's residence last 5 years", you would have filled your recent PI address. In "last address outside US", you want to fill the address that you stayed outside of US and for at least 1 year. Did you stay for at least 1 year at your current PI address? If yes, fill that up in "last address outside US". If you have not stayed at your current address for at least 1 year, write your previous non-US address where you stayed at least 1 year. Hope that helps.

Yes, the current address is the foreign applicant's last address outside the US in this case.

Yah, I never been in US. Actually I just give one address in APPLICANTS RESIDENCE LAST 5 YEARS because we are living here for 6 years now so I just put just one address there... while in LAST ADDRESS OUTSIDE US I believe I will just put the same address that I put in APPLICANT RESIDENCE LAST 5 YEARS....

Sorry if my questions are kinda confusing because I don't want to fill my form with too much errors... I want to give all the necessary papers to my bro in law who happens to be here... having his vacation... He will be back in US this coming end of May.

Thanks for ur time "pushbrk"...

Your giving me so much help here (F)

Hello all!!! Got another question before I send my envelope to my husband in US...

My husband and I got married just Oct of last year... so i don't have IDs indicating my new surname... and my passport (that I have to renew 2010) has also my maiden surname.

Now... what will I write on my FAMILY NAME on from G--325A??? Because I write there my family name when I was single...

How about in form I-130, in INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RELATIVE , Name (Family name in CAPS) what he will write there??? My surname when I was single or now that I'm married to him???

Pls enlighten my mind.

Thanks to all.

What is your current legal name? Which name is in your passport? What name do you intend to use when you are in the USA?

When I got my passport, I'm single that's why it's SANTIAGO but i have to renew that on 2010 and I want to use my married name which is BUENAVENTURA. I want to use BUENAVENTURA when I will be in USA. Now, that i don't have Id's indicating my new status which is married, i' planning to get a new ID.

I quite confuse what will I write on my FAMILY NAME in G-325A....

ASSEMBLING FORM I-130 CHECKLIST

Does all the checklist for Form I-130 are the same??? Or it depends on what visa you will apply??? Do my husband need to to include cover letter???

I'm confused about the checklist... some don't need to send cover letter while others have to provide...

My husband is a lawful permanent resident of USA.

My husband is a lawful permanent resident of USA.

i included a cover letter/checklist with mine. just a guide for them on what i have sent. doesn't hurt to do that..

is he going to be a citizen soon? cuz all that I-130 is going to do is kinda sit until he becomes a citizen, when it will be processed faster.. (correct me if i'm wrong, for those who understand this way more than i do!)

my bro is a LPR but he filed the I-130 cuz he will be applying for citizenship before the end of this year. according to his lawyer, he will just have to adjust his status with them from permanent resident to citizenship..

I-130 Timeline:

5/13 : NOA1

7/21 : NOA2 - APPROVED!!!

NVC Timeline:

7/25 : Case # assigned

9/30 : Case completed!!!! (THANK YOU, LORD!!!)

10/03: Interview date assigned

US Embassy in Manila:

10/30 : Paid Document Verification (just to be on the safe side)

11/12 - 11/13 : Medical at SLEC

11/18: INTERVIEW DATE/MANILA EMBASSY/0630AM - VISA APPROVED!

11/20 : Visa in hand! (that was fast!)

11/30 : Flight to USA!

Life in America:

11/30 : POE:LAX

12/04 : SSN issued - 12/13: card received in the mail

Are u a citizen already??? Does ur bro include cover letter on his I-130?

It will be 4 years pa before he will be citizen, :crying: ...

According to the lawyer he asked it's good to file na daw even if ur just an immigrant... at least it's on process na.

I knew someone na she got her visa even if her husband is just a LPR then after a year saka lang naging citizen husband nya.

i'm a citizen, my bro isn't. but i advised him to file anyway so that ma-process na. so he got a lawyer, and the lawyer said the same thing, i guess. file now and adjust it when he becomes a citizen (hopefully next year). there's a number your husband can call to update them on his status as soon as he becomes a citizen: 1-800-375-5283. i got this number from my NOA1..

don't know if my bro included a coverletter..
