HI everyone... I'm a newbie here... I find this site very helpful for someone like me who don't know and confused regarding all the requirements... evidence... etc. etc. etc.

I'm hoping some of you can help me out on my questions :help: ...

Pls. bear with me.

My husband who is a lawful permanent resident of the United States (he came there just Feb2007 and came back and marry me Oct.2007)

Now he wants to file a petition for me and our 3 children (10, 5 and 4 yrs. old)

Here's my questions:

1. In G-325A form, my husband (applicant) have to answer this form? How about me, do I have to have another G-325A form and answer it?

2. If I have to answer form G-325A, my problem is my fathers name on my birth certificate is different from my marriage certificate...

So I don't know what name will I write.. the one who's in my birth certificate or the one who's on my marriage certificate...

My father died when I was one year old so I can't ask him what should I do.

3. In evidence of bonafide marriage, do he need to include our pictures on our wedding day? Wedding invitation?

I will appreciate all your replies.

Thank you in advance.

Yes, you each fill out and sign your own G325a. I would use your father's correct name. If you don't know which one it is, use the one on his birth certificate.

I hope your husband will be a citizen soon because until he is, his petition for you will do nothing but sit in a pile somewhere.

I'm quite confuse about that... A friend of mine just went their early last year... his husband is also an immigrant... pretty much the same case as we... she and their child got approved after all the process that they been accomplished and got their immigrant visa (after 4 yrs. of waiting). Her husband just got his citizenship just this year 2008.

I guess I have to deal also to years and years of waiting. :(

You'll be waiting until at least a few month after he becomes a US Citizen. The wait for the spouse of a permanent resident is longer than the wait to become a citizen.

The I-130 is a "petition" not an application.

Check "other" and write, "I-130 for spouse".

The question is applicable, so N/A is not a good answer. You don't have an A number yet so write "none".

Thank you "pushbrk" :D Yah, I realize that's not a right answer.

Can I have another question... I hope u don't mind... please....

Applicant's residence last five years. List present address first..... I FILL THAT UP,

THEN in Applicant's last address outside the United States of more than one year... Do I need to write what I write on applicants residence last five years or I will just leave that blank??? Because I'm here in PI and never been in USA ......

Sorry if my question is kinda confusing...

Sorry.

Sorry.

From what I understand, you are living in PI and have never been to US. In "Applicant's residence last 5 years", you would have filled your recent PI address. In "last address outside US", you want to fill the address that you stayed outside of US and for at least 1 year. Did you stay for at least 1 year at your current PI address? If yes, fill that up in "last address outside US". If you have not stayed at your current address for at least 1 year, write your previous non-US address where you stayed at least 1 year. Hope that helps.
