Group complaint to Ombudsman anyone?

Hi folks,

My wife and I have a NOA1 of July 26, 2007, at the californis csc, and we're still waiting. According to the uscis web site and the VJ info on this site, we should have heard something in January 08. We are going to contact the ombudsman and make a complaint, and we thought it would carry more weight if there were other couples out there who are in the same situation and would like to go in with us on the complaint. Any takers? If so, reply or send us a message!!! I will pen the complaint this weekend, and try to send it Monday.

It's worth a try to group together and send in your complaints, good luck!

Tried your senator and congressperson yet? If so, have you tried the VP Cheney? Heard that his office does reply :whistle:

Thanks, i'll check out the thread, and cheney is next on the list if senator boxer's office can't get it together. Got off the phone with my wife tonight, she is so depressed, she couldn't find anyone else in our timeline still waiting!! We're both heartbroken, i can't sleep, she was crying, it's just so wrong!!

I think Ombudsman is pretty useless when it comes to individual cases

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

There's a new ombudsman. I don't know how effective he'll be in his first couple of months of work.

Its worth a shot dont you think? As Cailer said, maybe one petitioner complaining is dosent get their attention, but if all the ppl over 6 months either group together and send their complaint or all send in the complaint at the exact same time.. the likelihood that somone will be double checking this problem would be higher imo.

What can you loose but 10-15 min to write up the letter.. we all come and vent here.. so not too much difference... right?

exactly... the omsbudsman role is a global process/procedure one... not as an individual advocate...
