Thanks for the info.. This gives me another hope! All the best!

Hi,

this is just an example to waht you are talking about here now.... I had TB back in 2006 when I had my yearly physical check up as a requirement in my work. After knowing that I had it my fiance now husband helped me in obtaining medical treatment( mahal na mahal masyado ang gamot sa Pinas). I underwent a 6 month medication treatment. I took my medical records including the xray film and results to SLEC, but still after the medical consultation it was determined by SLEC that my xray had a scar so they obliged me to undergo sputum test.

So, in short mga mare or pare, yes they accept all your previous medical records but then they will only use as a comparison but never waivering from their policy. (Sputum test and be cultured for 2 months).

Good luck to all of you and God bless.... Ingatz

Great tip. If the happy couple has the time and resources to obtain an independent medical exam beforehand going to SLMEC, I recommend it and that's what we did. There is nothing more discouraging, I believe, than to have another unanticipated set-back. Arghhhh!!!

Cheers!!!
