I-94W and K1 Visa

Hey guys.

Sarah was over to the states back in September for about a week visiting friends...she had her I-94W slip but no one ever collected it. She still has it, and we've found the place to send it back to, along with evidence she's returned to the UK back in September, but I am just wondering if this will slow the K1 petition down, or anything like that.

Also, she'll be coming to stay for a month in September, and she just wants to make sure everything will be ok for that as well. So any advice or information would be greatly appreciated!

This should not slow anything down as long as you can present evidence that there was no overstay.

As for your second question, that is a FAQ.

Thanks for the info, however the latter doesn't answer my question

I was more concerned with when she came to visit, would the fact she did not turn in her I-94W form severely affect her journey through Immigration. I found out on a different site the information for that portion though

Did you get an exit stamp in passport?

To answer YuAndDan's question, the U.S. has never sealed my passport when I go back home, they don't have an exit stamp. In some countries (like mine) you get an entry stamp when you return to your home country.

OP, when your fiance sends back her I-94W make sure they give her a confirmation that it has been received and that it has been recorded that she sent it back, she might be asked about it during the interview. And if it has not been registered yet, then she might be asked about it at the POE if she visits you again.

How long ago did she travel back home?
