Do we need to pay for I-129f kor K-3?

There's no need to attach payment anymore for 129-F (k3)petition application for USC spouse.

thanks for all the info!!..by the way, we already sent our I-130 application today through USPS and we maid it express mail. But we forgot to

Mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation!!..is it ok? how de we know that the USCIS already received our application? Pls help me thanks..

yes it ok, no prob abt that. the USCIS will send you NOA1 through mail stating that they already received your application :)

06.19.2010 - papers arrived at Chicago lockbox

06.24.2010 - Check cashed

06.28.2010 - NOA1 Hardcopy received (9 days from the day they got our papers)

07.05.2010 - Received Biometrics Schedule (July 26)

08.05.2010 - Biometrics done! (had to re-schedule from 7/26 to 8/5)

08.13.2010 - Got my interview letter

08.20.2010 - EAD card on production

09.06.2010 - Got my EAD Card (62 days)

09.07.2010 - Applied for SSN

09.14.2010 - SSN Card received

09.16.2010 - Interview schedule (APPROVED)

09.20.2010 - Welcome Notice Received ("Welcome to the USA")

09.25.2010 - 10 yr Green Card received! (98 days)

My advice is to go all the way with the I-130 and forget filing the K3. CRs are MUCH better visas [cheaper and easier] and almost as fast as K3s at

this time. No need to go thru all the ####### and cost adjusting status.

I did the K3 and after us going thru hell adjusting status wish we'd done the I-130 all the way solo.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Do you have the mail tracking number? if yes go to the USPS WEBSITE. You can check there the status of your mail.

no fee for 129f.. i didnt get a return receipt but i did send it overnight to chicago lock box.

in a few days you will get a NOA#1.

make sure you send the 129f to the addy at bottom left of NOA#1 and send the 797 as well

a 797 is a notice of action (NOA) you will get back from the USCIS stating they received your i-130

upper left corner is a WAC# go to USCIS and you can ck your staus from there, good luck
