Hi all ! Chuck and Teresa here. So here is our question my fiancee and I had our first appointment One month ago. Now we have been invited back for another (new) interview. I dont believe that she would need another medical appointment but do you think we will have to pay Banamex another $131 dollars for this interview. Not sure since if it is a new appointment or if it is just a review. Or a whole new appointment. Has any one had an experience with this. Thanks again for your support. Chuck and Teresa

The fee is per application and since this is a review of a pending application I don't thhink you will need to pay again.

At least that is what it is in our case.

Thanks for the advice. We pray that our orignal documents come from Fed Ex tomorrow and we will be going to our interview on Monday or Tuesday of next week. Thank you for keeping us encouraged. Chuck and Teresa

You can only get married with the K-1 visa after it has been activated at the Port of Entry (POE) to the US and you get married in the US within 90 days of your arrival. You cannot get married outside of the US, nor can you get married and use a K-1 visa to enter the US as you would no longer be a fiancee. It makes no difference what your religious affiliation is for the K-1 visa. I do not know if there are additional concerns that need to be addressed as a Muslim using a K-1 visa to enter the US in order to get married. Hopefully, someone here who is Muslim will answer and offer you that information.
