No Record at NSO..what to do

Hello guys!!!!I am asking for a friend who has no record of birth certificate from NSO because she and her sister had the same year of registration. She was able to get an authenticated copy from NSO last 2002 but when she decided to secure a new copy lately. It turned out that she has no copy anymore. It was her sister who has...what can she bring at the interview...she's already waiting for her medical and interview. Salamat Kaau!!!!!

hi,

i had a blurred copy of my BC before and NSO told me to request for endorsement from the civil registrar where i was born and so i did. after a month, i went to the NSO to secure the clear copy as forwarded by my civil registrar and NSO issued a no record certificate to me. i insisted that it was not possible coz i already had a previous copy issued by their office so they asked me to present to them the said copy and the endorsement letter. it turned out that since their system removed my old copy and replaced it with my clear copy, a no record appeared because when the time i requested, the new copy was not saved yet in their database. and unfortunately for me, their scanner was not working then so it took me 3 months before i finally got my clear copy. i did it when the petition was still in USCIS so i had ample time in doing so. hope it helps...

Hi Rose!!Thank you for that. She has been told to do an endorsement that will take for a month too which she did. Hope she will get it by that time coz her petition is already forwarded by NVC to USEM. Salamat jud! --Me
