good morning all, hope its a nice thursday for everyone. its getting hot here, with a heat wave predicted for the weekend, temps in the low 100s. first of all I am not much of a hot weather fan but ESPECIALLY not yet. its only may, dangit!!

morning! 60's and overcast here today. My husband met an Algerian woman at his resume workshop yesterday and she was telling him how hard it is to get her children to speak Arabic because all their freinds speak only English and the schools don't offer Arabic. I obviously haven't had to deal with this but what do other folks with babies plan on doing? I would think if you teach them right off the bat at home then it shouldn't be a problem but I guess I could be wrong on that since it doesn't seem to work for this woman. BTW her husband's name is Lulu!! I had never heard of that name before but now I can say I've heard of two Lulu's one here and one near my town. :)

Awwwwwwww tenderheart I'm jealous! Today is a hard work day for me and just getting back to work after having the baby is wearing me out! My husband would love to go to Starbucks when he was working in Alexandria. That Starbucks is nicer than anyone you will see here or I should probably say anyone that I have been in. He is really into the iced coffee we have here now but loves the caramel frappuccino from Starbucks!

Melinda.....I love it when I get my hair cut and colored and eyebrows done. It makes you feel so fresh! When's Tarek coming? I'm excited for you!!!

did anybody watch american idol last night? did anybody else think Fantasia's performane was a little bit ODD?? I think Simon's expression said it all...lol and yay for David Cook!!!! I hope he wins!

my husband couldn't stop laughing throughout her whole performance!!!! ODD is a tame expression for what that was last night!!!!!! LOL. I'm rooting for David A. because my daughters are in loooooooooooooooooooooooooooove with him. :luv:

how long has it been? I would email them if it's been more than two weeks. Calling never got me anywhere and this way your email is in the records.

I waited, and after 2 months found out that they had recieved it 2 months ago and never sent the pkt 3.... not to scare you, but it did became a huge mess.....so, there is no harm in calling :whistle: the worst they can do is tell you they haven't received it yet.

I was a David A. fan in the beginning but my interests started favoring David C about half way through the season. i think it will be a close one though!

OK, I'm not an "Idol" watcher, but I'm curious abt this odd Fantasia performance. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I looked on Yahoo, AI's website and youtube.... Any links?

I certainly remember that because at the time it seems they were sending P3 in e mails randomly.
