RFE or NOT RFE....

Hello.

I am an October 2007 filer who is still waiting for NOA2(CSC). Till now, we have

heard nothing from them. We are already outside of normal processing time...

Anyway, when we called last Thursday, we were informed that we have an RFE request.

We were also told to call back in a week if we do not receive an RFE notice in a mail

by then. So, it has been a week since then....

Well, we have received neither a snail RFE mail nor an e-mail notice....

(We signed up to receive an e-mail notice about 7 months ago...) Our case status online is still

"case received and pending".....

Our case was updated twice this week without us calling....So, are they still working on our case?

We do not know what is going on.

Do we really have an RFE or was it just misleading information? We are confused...

We are going to call CSC tomorrow and ask them what is going on....

I want to know if anybody had the same experience before....

(An officer told you that there is an RFE request, but there really wasn't....)

Please help us to get some clue.

10/17/2008: Touch

12/08/2008: Filed a Service Request for EAD (more than 75 days since petition received.)

12/22/2008: Infopass Appointment (Day 91 since EAD application filed)

12/22/2008: EAD approved (card production ordered/Day 91)

12/31/2008: AP received in mail :)

01/02/2009: EAD received in mail :)

01/09/2009: AOS interview letter received in mail :)

02/20/2009: Interview :) => Approved!!!!!

Sorry to hear about that. We had RFE on 04/29 and notice was received on 03/05, so I would expect you to have it now. If the officer told you there was a RFE there should be one, but then you never know with CSC. Try to give them a call again if nothing in the post. They should be able to send you duplicate letter (F)
