Met online November 2005 playing City of Heroes

First met in Canada, Sept 22, 2006 <3

September 2006 to March 2008, 11 visits, 5 in Canada, 6 in NJ

Officially Engaged December 24th, 2007!!!

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

***10 year green card in hand as of 2/2/2012, loving and living life***

Hmmm maybe we should move back to Canada! lol smile.png

I can insert the video but here is the link to one of my all time favourite childhood shows - The Forest Rangers! I used to watch it late, late nights in reruns before I moved south.

I don't think anything in this world could ever represent my love and obsession for Polka Dot Door and Today's Special growing up. I literally watched it every single day religiously and would have killed someone if I missed it.

It saddens me that the youth of today will never experience my joy.

I look back on my childhood with SO much love and fond memories..I had so many great adventures!

OMG I forgot about the Green Forest, I think it was a bit before my time maybe, but I totally watched it. Not as religiously as Polka Dot Door or Today's Special :lol:

Guess what someone brought to work the other day?

FUN DIP!

I couldn't believe it. Also, it had 3, count em, THREE flavours and two sticks!!! TWO!

LIKE..#######?

Couldn't they have created that when we were little? The sticks were white though, tasted the same but not the same as the original pink.

I can remember I always ate the stick and then had nothing to eat the dip with so I just poured it in my mouth....man...lucky azz kids today.

I remember Today's Special very well, although I couldn't remember the name of the show itself. The characters, however, are stuck in my mind forever. Who could forget a guy who turns into a mannequin whenever his hat comes off? I used to watch that on Nickelodeon years ago -- that and You Can't Do That On Television too.

You are aging me!! :wacko::lol: I remember some of these shows of course...Forest Rangers, Mr. Dress-up, Friendly Giant...and don't forget Chez Helene...but some of this stuff is newer and I wasn't a child then and didn't watch them. How about Romper Room? She NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRR said MY name!!!!!!!!! Another favourite of mine was Rocketship 7.

Ageless?! :lol: you're funny. No, my name never got called on the birthday list from Rocketship 7 either. My sister and brother had rather common names, and of course if they heard theirs they'd be squealing and jumping up and down. My name while not unique is a name not often used, or wasn't during my formative years. As I got older, I'd see personalization on everything from key chains and coffee mugs to note pads. Never my name.... :no:
