Medial just 1 day before interview - could I have problems?

Hi all,

Due to the fact London is such a long way from where I am at the moment I have scheduled the medical 1 day before the visa interview (too expensive to stay in London more than 1 night).

My question: has anyone here done anything similar? Had any problems? Will I need to do anything extra at the interview or after it? Does it take longer simply because the Embassy has to wait for the medical results?

We did exactly this - it just takes a few days for the medical results to get to the embassy so it may delay getting your visa after the interview. I think it was about 10 days for us.

Quite a few people have done this recently with no problems. Some brave souls have done them same day! It's not a big deal, you just have to wait a little longer. Go for it.
