Can anyone share how long it took for them to get their passports back after the interview?

My husband filed DCF... We have an interview on June 10th... He's been keeping an eye on the price of tickets and they've jumped up around $200 per ticket! We do know that prices jump up for the summer but he, the entire time, has been checking the 18th of June which we believe will be long enough to get his passport back through the post. Does anyone think that this may not be enough time? We want to go ahead and buy the tickets incase they decide to skyrocket again! Any replies appreciated..

Thanks

Crystal

It's long enough... as long as there are no problems. Sometimes the visa can't be approved without you going home and sending in more informations and once in a while there can be a problem with the SMS delivery service.

We are in the same situation and the price increase on flights is crazy

Our interview is on Friday (fingers crossed for that) and we were also debating on booking flights early...

We have booked them for 24th June so hopefully we have left enough time in between if there are any problems!

I say go for it if you think that you case is clear cut and you believe (after checking EVERYTHING at least 3 times, on 3 different days!) that everything is in order...

We are 99% confident that we have left enough time...

Best of luck to you both.

If you do purchase tickets prior to interview. Be sure you can change the departure date without paying to much!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

we've actually decided we're going to wait.. we figured that its better to pay a little bit extra on flights than for, god forbid, something go wrong and have tickets we can't use and them go to waste.. we'll be booking as soon as we have the visa in hand.. (hoping for the 18th as a departure date still! )

Best of luck to those of you that will be interviewing soon! :D
