i brought 5 packets of birth control pills (worth 5 months) lol... (i had a doctors prescription but they never check and ask me about it) i also have pain relievers, anti-acid and other over the counter drugs that my mom wanted me to have. i hand carry it all (except for the other remaining 4 packets of birth control) and they never had a problem... although they say as much as possible, its advisable to have a doctor's signature to be safe especially if you bring a bunch of them... who knows they might check on you... happy trip and God bless!!!

to edit: i dont have a prescription on my over the counter meds just the birth controls... and when we visited phil, i had a bunch of meds from phil also going back to the US but still they didnt check my bags for it...
