K1 visa - does sponsor also has to undergo interview

I am preparing to send the packet 3 to the Consulate at Mumbai. Just now, my fiancee (sponsor) asked me if she also has to undergo an interview.

I told her - No. Am I right ? She does not have to ?

Only the beneficiary has to undergo an interview.

And remember - don't take any 'engagement' pictures to the interview - they look very suspiciously like a 'wedding' picture. Just have the pictures of you two in front of India Gate and with family and friends e.g. with Shahrukh and Preety! Good Luck
