We got our Notice of approval..... Suddenly seems more real

So today my hubby got the notices of approval for myself and our daughter. So excited, had a bad day yesterday and was thinking that i can't wait to get out of this place. We're not moving until April next year but at least we are getting there slowly.

Wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped and given advice since we started this journey.

Just out of curiosity, on what date was your credit card charged...or what was your processing date. Also, has he received his Packet 3 yet? We are trying to figure out if we are going to get our Packet 3 before we take off to Spain for vacation!!! But it is looking like NO. ((

First off -- congrats, mrssmith! I know all too well about that "I can't wait to get out of here feeling." And Thomas -- your processing date is the date your card was charged, so that's February 26th for you. Since they're processing from the 22nd now (i.e. that's the oldest one they're processing), I have a feeling your P3 is imminent. Good luck!

Thank you Maven! I am worried, though. Mrs. Smith's timeline says she sent her I-130 on 24 January, which was almost month before we sent ours. It looks like I might have another month to wait. I guess I was also thinking the processing date meant we would get P3 and be able to return our docs, but it looks like the processing date means just that - processing, and that we will have to wait 3-4 weeks to actually receive P3 in the post.

I know it will come eventually, but having everything on hold just downright sucks!

Thomas F, we recieved a RFE for our case on April 10th which we delayed returning until May 6th and case was approved on May 9th, so you should be hearing something pretty soon i should imagine.

We haven't recieved the packet 3 yet believe from others it will be another 2 weeks until we recieve it.

Thank you everyone for the congratulations, we are all pleased and need to slowly and painfully get rid of our junk....

Congrats!!! I can't wait to get out of here either. I love England I really do, but I soooo miss my family. I haven't seen my kids since last August .
