I think if I was young again, that is exactly what I would be doing....traveling.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

jen i'm so jealous you're traveling!!! I can't wait until hubby gets a job so we can figure out his schedule and plan some long weekends to NYC! When I think of where I want to stay though I'm always torn because the Embassy Suites in Jersey has a fantastic view, though it's not right in Manhattan you know?

travel is what keeps me alive. :blush:

where in jersey is that hotel? if its in hoboken, the path train gets you to mid town very quickly. :thumbs: hotels in NYC are ridiculous $$$! hope you two get to come down for a weekend soon! good luck!

I forget what city it is in but it overlooks Manhattan and the view is so pretty! It is ridiculous $$$ but I always seem to get a good deal for like 1/4 of the asking price when I bid through Priceline. Just have to go at the right time. I wanted to go this month but it doesn't look like that's going to happen and if we go in the summer the prices will be stubborn but then that's 1/2 the fun for me, finding the bargain!!!!!

also try calling the hotel direct. ask for the manager and ask if they have any deals. i watched insider secrets on some channel recently (i think fine living) and they mentioned that works.

7/19/2006----VSC recieved RFE (IMBRA).

8/18/2006----NOA2!!!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!!

8/18/2006----VSC sent our petition to NVC.

8/19/2006----touched

8/22/2006----NVC recieved our petition.

8/25/2006----Recieved NOA2 Approval letter in the mail.

8/28/2006----Recieved NVC letter with new case number.

8/31/2006----Cairo Embassy recieved our petition.

9/24/2006----I emailed the Embassy reguarding my fiance's packet 3.

10/17/2006--Cairo sent packet 3 for the second time to my fiance. First one was never recieved.

10/19/2006--Packet 3 recieved.

12/20/2006--Packet 3 sent.

12/21/2006--Cairo Embassy recieved packet 3.

2/21/2007---Packet 4 recieved.

3/12/2007---Interview (He Passed)!

3/12/2007---Administrative Processing begins.............God please help me get through this!

7/17/2007---Our 2 Year Anniversay!!!

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!

Happy Hump Day all! there are some great pics in todays thread, love that pineapple camel. Just goes to show, if you search well enough there is a picture of EVERYTING out there somewhere :)

speaking of babies, I am sitting here at 6:30 am waiting for mine to wake up. she went to bed at 8:30 last night and I havent heard a peep yet! WOOT! first time for an uninterrupted night in a loooong time and it feels good but wierd. but no, I am not complaining :P
