7/30/08: Sent AOS to Chicago lockbox

7/31/08: Received by USCIS

8/06/08: Check cashed

8/07/08: Rec'd NOA for I-485 AOS

8/07/08: AOS, EAD, & AP - Touched

8/08/08: Rec'd NOAs for EAD & AP

8/12/08: Rec'd Biometrics appt letter

8/21/08: Biometrics

9/29/08: EAD & AP - approved!!

10/6/08: EAD & AP - received in the mail!

2/06/09: Received interview notice for March 10th!!

3/10/09: Passed interview - husband's GC approved!!! Woohoo!!! :-)

01/2011: File to remove conditions

Received NOA1 on 10/24/07, received NOA2 on 05/01/08!

Approved petition forwarded to NVC on 5/9/08, and hopefully on it's way to the consulate in China as I type!

We are another October 2007 filer who is still waiting for NOA2 from CSC. We got an RFE instead of NOA2... Damn. Oh well. We will find a way out of this hopefully in a month, I believe... Please wish us luck! I am so glad to hear that things are happening very quickly after your case was approved at CSC.

We are still waiting for our RFE letter, which was sent out today, to arrive. I hope our case moves as quick as yours once we receive NOA2. I hope I can tell you a good news soon.

Anyway, congrats :thumbs:

Also, I am glad that your fiance's dad is ok. The city where I live in Japan was hit by a pretty big (not comparable to this one though) earthquake last year. I could not keep standing still when it happened. Many houses collapsed and we were out of water, electricity and gas for about a week. So, it must have been sooo scary to him to be there. I am really really glad that he is ok.
