Hi just called the NVC to see if they got my wife's ds-230 and it said they sent me a letter yesterday about missing document or documents. My wife lives in the Philppines and it said on NVC website to send 2 2x2 passport size photos but there the passport photos are smaller. So I wonder if I should of sent the regular Phillipines passport size photos? does anyone know, who is in phillpines about the 2 photos your suppose to send with the ds-230?

Also I used james short cuts, I heard there is a Cover letter your suppose to send to but we did not becuse we did not see that in James shortcuts, are we suppose to send the coverletter to? Is there a way to download it from somehwere then send to NVC

Thanks very much for any help again:-)

You can ask question in regional forum for how to get 2x2 passport size photos for you spouse.

You can use template of cover letter for I-864 from Wiki page here and put DS-230 related information. I will update James's shortcuts in wiki page for DS-230 section.

The photos you're supposed to send are 2 X 2. The "regular" passport photos in the Philippines are smaller but this is not what NVC was asking for.

You already sent the photos right? If I were you, I'd just wait for the RFE and see if the passport photos are really what NVC was complaining about. In the meantime, I'd also ask the wife to send new photos. Just my .02

Also, here's a link I sent to my wife when I asked her for photos. She printed this, showed it the the passport place and they gave her perfect passport NVC photos.

Good luck!
