Hi Shape:

I am in a state of dilemma right now because I just remember that I got this email from NVC confirming our case number for K3 last May 5 and I called Robbie May 6 afternoon to amend our case number in their records database. Now if I he sent our docs to NSO last May 5 then that only means that he used our CR1 case number which is sooo wrong :protest: because this will not match USEM's letter of request as it has our K3 case number. He didn't even mentioned that they've already sent out USEM's letter of request to NSO last May 6 when we talked. Hmmmm... I think we need to focus more on this process because I am seeing some inconsistencies on Delbros part as well. Uggg... I can't wait to call Robbie on Monday and re-confirm what he had told me last May 14 is true. I can't believe I only recalled this just now.... :bonk:

Anyway, to ensure that Delbros gets my name right and that there will be no confusions made, what I'll do is re-fax Robbie a copy of all the information needed (following Loterly's format) but add up one more line item that clearly indicates my "maiden name" and the other one I'll simply tagged as my "married name". I'll fax this to him twice, call him after to make sure he gets it and to put emphasis on the difference between the names written in my correspondence. And of course, I'll not forget to ask about the request he sent to NSO last May 5, Monday.

I hope it's Monday already.... :clock:

I was told the same thing and confirmed by Robie that on May 5 was my docs forwarded to NSO, but when i called again yesterday, Robie confirmed me again its only May 12 they submitted mine to NSO. A lot of us here told same thing and will only find out it's not being submitted yet.

As for the name, it's Robbie who told me that the letter that USEM sent them was my name when i was still single along with my case number. That's the request letter that USEM sent to Delbros to be forwarded to NSO for verification of my Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate.

Hi Shape:

I talked to Robbie earlier and was informed that what they sent to NSO is a letter of request directly submitted to them by the USEM which specifically asked them to deliver this notice to NSO requesting for our documents to be verified correct and authentic. He also told me that the name written on the letter corresponds to the exact details they got from our text message which in our case is our "married name".

My point of view is that changing our names to officially use our married names shouldn't really post a document verification delay given that NSO is the only legally authorized records database owner that has access to this documentations and can easily identify the discrepancy between the names used regardless if it is our maiden or married name just by looking at our respective Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate or CENOMAR.

What I think triggers this setbacks is USEM's timeline in coordinating or sending the actual document verification letter of request to Delbros which in effect is the main bottleneck of the process knowing that Delbros can only forward this appeal to NSO once they received an input from USEM and of course, NSO can only start verifying our docs once they heard from Delbros. Bottomline is, if USEM fails to forward a request to Delbros, then Delbros will not be able to move forward and so is NSO.

Anyways, I found out from Robbie that they already sent our petition’s document verification request to NSO last May 5, Monday and confirmed that our certificates are now being verified at this point in time. If this is the case then I am leaning towards the idea that our case will not be subject to documents verification delay given that NSO normally takes 1-2 weeks to actually finish the documents verification process per case. But I am still keeping my fingers crossed and continue to pray that everything will run smoothly and as planned.

I am wishing everyone the best of luck in their respective visa applications. Keep the faith and pray earnestly. God Bless.

Hi Shape:

Thanks for sharing this with us. The details I sent through text also specifies my married name and was wondering if we can still correct this at Delbros standpoint. I plan on calling Robbie later as I will also fax him the copy of my Metrobank payment slip together with my interview appointment details. I'll ask for his inputs regarding this matter.

Btw, I remember Robbie (Delbros) asked for my maiden name when I called him up to correct our Manila Case # on their records database.

timcass_12

Hi Cass,

Yeah that would be a great idea to talk to Robie about this. Basically, Delbros still wait for request letter from USEM for document verification for a particular name.

Oh my goodness shapey, i did mine in my husband lastname too lol but i follow second format on how to text DELBROS....

here is the format : USE/MNL2008xxxxxx/lastname,firstname,Middlename/Address/Date ofDeposit/TimeofDeposit/Amount

and as far as i know the only reason some people got delay it is because of late registration they will need your Baptismal Cert. or it is mispelled of entry in your BC & MC and other delay is u are just paying document verifications during interview.

i hope this information will help us all.

In my case it's not the reason. My BC wasn't late registered, no misspelled, not unclear, same thing with my MC .

It's confusion with the DELBROS because USEM sent request using my "single name" with my MNL case number and my payment i used my "married name", Robbie said they got confused about the name i texted them and the name that USEM sent them but with the same MNL case number. So, they waited until USEM contacted them , "after my interview", regarding my NSO verification , is why only MAY 12 delbros sent that request to NSO. when i was told before it was May 5 that the request were forwarded to NSO.

I think, it's either Delbros or USEM need to do something how they will function correctly.

However, I already accepted, i am expecting delays of 2 or 3 weeks before i hear something about my visa.

hello shape, just wondering, if we followed the delbros format, that is, last name/first name/middle name etc. I'm sure Robbie or the person in charge there at delbros should look at that middle name of ours right, that middle name is our "single name" and since we texted to them that we're K3, if the USEM will forward to them our "single name", they should verified the ones they sent to NSO with our married name since we have the same MNL case number, I mean if they received that request from the USEM with our 'single name" why can't they just look at our texted format with our Married name and single name and just proceed with that and not get confused with that, because they can easily tell that it is us too because we have the same MNL Case number, I hope I was able to explain what I want to say shape, I'm not good at explanation, my english is not that good as yours. So that it will not cause a delay on the verification..if they will just continue processing our previous text message to them when we paid them.

I understand what you meant Nova,( like you, i was like, they should be doing their job correctly and would do some further perusal with the details that we are texting them and what USEM sending to them.

Honestly, i have cussed Robbie the last time i talked to him (May 13), i was really so mad that time when i talked to him regarding with my case number that was only forwarded to NSO on May 12, when before he confirmed already it was forwarded to NSO May 5. Mind you my docs got to their office last week of April. And was only sent May 12 to NSO after my interview. Very inconsistent answers i am getting from Robbie. Such a pity.

who do you think won't get pissed by that? the reason is that " confusion about the name i texted them regarding my document verification payment from the request that USEM sent to them". WTH. Simple analysis lang, or if not why not contact us they have our contact numbers, well, such an incompetent one.

Good luck everyone. [/color]

Hi Noel,

I also changed all my identification into my married name except for college records. I don't think there will be problem about that.

What i am referring here is the name we used when we texted Delbros about informing them about the payment for document verification. Delbros received "married name" from us, while Delbros received "single name" request from USEM. That gives confusion to Delbros as to sending the request to NSO. Mine was only fixed just May 12, and only May 12 they (delbros) send the request to NSO. Probably because USEM followed it up already to Delbros because payment was made already April 1, 2008 and yet Delbros didnt send request yet to NSO until only May 12. Delbros got confuse.

Shape

Thank you!

You're welcome. Good luck to your wife. She will be fine, as i have seen also many IR1/CR1 during my interview last May 12, they all went well with the consul interviews.

Hi Che,

CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage). why you will need to get that? :)

Anyway, yes anybody can request CENOMAR to NSO, and since you are married , like me, of course it will appear at the result that you are already married to someone (name of your husband).

Yep, got 2 case numbers. One for our CR1 and the other for our K3. Unfortunately, they guy with whom my husband talked to at NVC gave him our CR1 case number instead of our K3.

Btw, were you able to call Robbie today? I tried calling him but can't get through Delbros line. I'll try again tomorrow. Also, as requested the other day here is Delbros office address -

Delbros Cargo Center South

A.C. Delgado Ave., corner 18th St.

Port Area, Manila

Tel. # (+632) 339 - 2761

Fax Number 339-2757

Hello girls,1038075t9u0hi1fjx.gif

I've been thinking about this few days already, and i came to this analysis regarding the document verification thing. When we paid the document verification we texted our "married name" to Delbros for them to confirm our payment. I've learned that USEM send a request for document verification for all applicants whether you are K3 or K1 no exemption with the "single names". Me, as K3 , i texted my married name coz Delbros never specify in their website that when we text them about our payment we should text our "maiden name" instead of "married name". The USEM , sent a request with my "single name" along with my "MNL case number". When it gets to Delbros, they were confused because "name" from USEM and name i texted them were different but with "the same MNL case number". So, only May 12 that Delbros send the request to NSO when i already paid April 1, 2008. (1 month and 2 weeks before my interview date).

So, i am expecting a 2 weeks delay of my visa.

To those who are not paying the document verification fee yet, especially if you are K3 , the USEM send request to be verified in our "single name" and not to our "married name", that when you text Delbros about your payment, it's good to use your "single name" to avoid confusions from Delbros.

Geez. i hope Delbros or USEM clearly specify that it should be the "maiden name" and not the "new name" that they will look or will use to send request to NSO.

Hi Shape,

How are you this time? I read this Delbros ideas in your post, and i do exactly what you did i type in

my married name too, how would i change it to single name? I actually texted DELbros again but no reply anymore, have you had any suggestion what to do on this please?

Thank you-Mercy

have a great time here!:-)

Hi Merce,

Thank you. Actually, it would be better if you call Delbros and ask Robbie what name the USEM use in the request letter they sent to them as to forward to NSO. As in my case, USEM used my "single name" instead of my "married name". But, timcass12 called Robbie and was told by Robbie, that this scenario (like happened to me) is very rare to happen.

But, let's just hope this won't happen though in your case. :)

Good luck Merce.
