I just checked our file and we got a touch today!!!!!!!!!!! I pray it means something good. LoL Anyway I'm still praying for everyone else on here. I also want to say thanks to all of you for everything so far! :)

It would seem fitting that you have an approval right around the corner. You have four folks who filed right before you and two folks immediately after you who all have NOA2's. I PRAY this is your lucky week!

05-28-2008 = NOA2 (125 days after NOA1)

06-02-2008 = NOA2 Hardcopy received; NVC received petition

06-04-2008 = NVC sent package to Costa Rica

06-10-2008 = Embassy received

06-13-2008 = Picked up Packet 3

06-25-2008 = Interview (28 days after NOA2)

07-05-2008 = Home to the U.S. together!

touched means that the USCIS is checking or reviewing your application. if you see any changes in the status of your application online , that means it was touched. you can check the status of your application in the USCIS WEBSITE.

A 'touch' is basically an update of the 'last updated date' of your petition in the USCIS website.

Some people get lot of touches but others never get touched at all. It doesn't have to mean anything important as a touch can be generated by simply moving your application from one location to another, whenever they grab it (or 'touch' it), it get scanned.

Lately, however, it seems the USCIS isn't always updating their site and a touch now sometimes even could mean that there is a NOA2 or RFE around the corner as people get a NOA2 or RFE in the mail without the USCIS website updating.

12/21/11 - NOA date

12/22/11 - Check cashed

12/27/11 - Received NOA

02/06/12 - Received yellow letter (pre-interview case file review)

03/13/12 - Placed in line for interview scheduling (3 yr anniversary)

03/17/12 - Received interview letter

04/17/12 - Interview - No decision, application under further review

04/17/12 - Biometrics

04/25/12 - Placed in line for oath scheduling (so I'm approved yay!)

04/27/12 - Received oath ceremony date

05/09/12 - Oath ceremony!!

Well guess what.....you weren't wrong lol. Igot it!!!! Finally!!!! That beautiful NOA2!!!!! I'll say it again...you all are the best support anyone could ask for.
