Hi all, my wife had her K-3 changed to a IR-1 and I was told by many people that her green card and SSN was supposed to be like automatic. In my Form 230 part II, I had checked the space to get her a SSN and still nothing almost 3 months after her getting here. Same for the green card. Or anything from Homeland security. Anyway, I had ask the questions a few weeks ago about the same and rceived a few replies about having a I-551 stamp in her visa. She does, fantastic I have been told. But my question is. How can I prove to her potantial employers that the I-551 stamp is good for 1 years as a green card till she gets her real card? Is there something official that I can download and print to have her take it and show them? Tomorrow I get here a SSN or at least a receipt for one to find work.

THANKS EVERYONE
