ok, this may sound stupid but I need to know how do you guys count the 90 days?90 days including weekends ..you know day by day until the card expires or just the days during the week until the card expires...you know like bussiness days? my green crad expires on the 08/26/08...I would like to send our package whitin the 90 days...something like day 89..hehehe can anyone help me with this? well thanks guys/oh! by the way we only have one person who will write a letter for us..I explained before our situation, we moved out several times, my hubby,s family is a mess hahaha and well we have almost "zero" friends..will this be enough..and ups I almost forgot does it matters to uscis how much money we have in our bank accounts?or they just want to verify if it,s really ours?thanks...

It is 90 days including weekends so just count back 90 days from the date your green card expires and that is the earliest you can file.

You probably don't need to have affidavits if you have lots of other evidence.

USCIS isn't looking at how much money you have in your accounts - they want to see evidence that you have co-mingled your financial affairs, ie. joint accounts with both of you using the accounts; joint credit cards; joint payment or at least shared payment of utility bills; joint filing of taxes, etc. The documents you submit are evidence of a marriage in which both of you have mixed together your personal, social and financial lives. They want to know you are truly married for the right reasons and not just for an immigration benefit.

thank you!yep, because we are married we live together as many other couples and of course we do have all kind of bills together, joint accounts,our taxes together, our lease for the apt where we live,etc I just was asking about the money cause it goes and comes in we don,t really save that much money, thanks.

I'm going to count the days starting from the 26.
