Hello, I am a permanent resident, my mom has applied for tourist visa twice in the last 3 years and has been declined. I'm not working at the moment, I'm pregnant and will give birth soon and I really wish my mom to be with me for the delivery. She had B1 visa for 25 years but it expired and now after 9/11 you have to reapply and unfortunately she hasnt gotten it.

She had her last interview a couple of weeks ago and she had everything we thought she would need, enough money in the bank, employer letter, employer letter from my dad's job, house and car titles, I wrote an invitation letter for her and still, they declined the visa, she said they only saw how much my dad makes and my letter and then they told her she wasnt eligible. Shes been disappointed to the point of getting sick and it's so bad I cant travel now, so i wont be able to see her till next year.

I feel bad about this, I really want her to share this special moment with me, she had never overstayed every time she traveled to the US and in no way she'd like to live here, she has her job and obligations back in our home country, but I've ran out of ideas on how we can prove she'll return after 2 weeks. Any advice? thanks!

I dont know if it helps but let your Husband USC writes a letter of invitation and signed it would be easy if she has a letter from the USC and maybe your assets in the States would help too..

I was once denied too for B2 toruist Visa because I dont have job yet before..

I dont know if it works but just try!..

There's nothing you can do except maybe write a letter of invitation with your husband so your mom can show it next time she goes to the embassy. But the CO has every right to deny her visa if he/she wants to. It's a gamble and you can't do anything about it.
