My wife had her POE at SEA (Seattle, WA), I was also with her and the process was very very smooth... the DHS employees there were very cool! I think it was our best DHS interaction ever!

Bascially when we got off the aircraft we followed the signs to immigration... I followed the non-citizens line to be with my wife (then fiance) the DHS employee standing in front of the line saw my US passport and informed me that I could just go to the shorter US citizens line but I explained to him and he smiled and escorted us towards one of the first two booths and took our sealed envelope and handed it over to the DHS employees there... the officers there just asked us to have a seat... while seated I noticed that they were swamped, the lines were LOOONG... but I was so pleasently surprised at how polite the officers were there dealing with everyone... I must say I was impressed... after a few mins they called us up to the booth and took my wife's picture, I noticed that all three officers at this particular booth (2 male, 1 female) were smiling while looking at some pictures in the envelope... the officer entering the data into the computer then asked us how we were and how the travel was... it must've been a long flight etc etc... and then he told my wife welcome to America... and explained how we had 90 days to get married... and then he wished us a happy wedding and said we're all done... it mustve taken 15-20 mins...

Mine in Atlanta where so smooth, no questioned asked and the one handles me is a filipino-american guy. And yes biometrics & photo wer taken.

Chicago POE migration officers have been nice and the process smooth the 3 times I have traveled under K1 (1, of course!) and AP (2).

11/08/05 Biometrics taken

03/22/06 We received the letter for the AOS interview!!! it is scheduled for May 11th ...

And still waiting for my EAD.... Can you believe it?

My wife's POE was Portland, Oregon, five months ago. The Officers who spoke to her were friendly, courteous, and efficient. She was only held up for a few minutes, and she entered the baggage claim area with a big smile on her face. I asked a stranger to take our picture together at that moment, and it is still one of my favorites of the two of us together.

05 07 05 .... Filed 129F with Nebraska Service Center

12 05 05 .... Successful interview -- visa granted

12 24 05 .... Married!

06 22 09 .... Irina takes the Oath and becomes a US Citizen
