question about k1 visa

im leaving for the states on the 23rd this month. i am driving... i have the paperwork for my car saying that it meets us emissions and safety. do i need to make a list of all the items im bringing with me in my car? are there any other documents i need to fill out or anything else i need to do in terms of what they need at POE?

The guy at the booth when you first drive up, looked at my loaded car and said "this is all personal household stuff?" Yep. "OK." And that was it.

Everyone seems to have their own experience on this issue. Best to make a list, and don't forget to put serial numbers for electronic items. Chances are, you won't have to show them anything, but what if they did ask for your list??? I can't imagine it would be fun to unpack and make up lists in the parking lot at Customs!
