I'm in the mood to do some more worthless wasting of my time, so I suppose I'll give this a shot.

Perhaps send a letter every day, like that inmate in the Shawshank movie asking for old books....

I'm in the mood to do some more worthless wasting of my time, so I suppose I'll give this a shot.

Perhaps send a letter every day, like that inmate in the Shawshank movie asking for old books....

In Ohio, all I had to do was get on the internet and make a request for assistance. Then they sent me a letter saying that I needed to fill out and sign an official request and write a letter about my situation and everything pertaining to my case, including case number and a copy of my NOA-1. They then did an inquiry to USCIS and told me that I can request an expedite and send in evidence as to why I am requesting it. Then I send it directly to the Senator and they pass it to USCIS.

All this was within 2 weeks. I just have not had a moment to put together a convincing letter at the moment, at the time my sister was killed and it has been downhill since. I am trying to get it together enough to send to the Senator though.

I hope this helps at least a little.

12-11-2007- Married my Love

02-08-2008- CSC receives I-130

02-11-2008- Received Hardcopy NOA1

08-14-2008- Approved!!! 216 days...

08-21-2008- NOA2 Hardcopy received

08-27-2008- NVC Receives file, NVC Case Number issued

09-05-2008- AOS Fee Bill and DS-3032 Generated

09-06-2008- E-mailed DS-3032 to NVC

09-11-2008- Received Hardcopy of DS-3032 and AOS Fee Bill

09-15-2008- Mailed Hardcopy of DS-3032

09-16-2008- Paid $70 AOS fee online

09-17-2008- Received E-mail confirming the DS-3032 Agent

yeah I found where to send it (and even a privacy disclosure I need to sign)...

of course my congressman is busy trying to get a rollercoaster built in a 10 foot lake erie snow drift.

someone posted a nice example letter...lost track of it... a nice template and a little legally bs type of jargon to make you look important (and we know we sure aren't).

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Recieved NOA1...........Febuary 13th 2008

Received NOA2 approval email........May 1st 2008

NVC

May 6th 2008 : NVC received & case# generated

May 15th 2008 : NVC generated & mailed DS 3032 & AOS Fee Bill

May 28th 2008 : DS 3032 Sent (E-mailed / Auto Response)

June 4th 2008 : AOS shows PAID on website, THEN REJECTED twice

June 11th 2008 : AOS bill finally accepted. Shows PAID on website.

June 25th 2008 : Paid $400.00 IV Bill

June 26th 2008 : IV Bill shows PAID on website.

June 30th 2008 : Mailed DS-230 package to NVC.

July 11th 2008 : Called NVC. Automated message stated CASE COMPLETE!

August 8th 2008: Called NVC and spoke with operator. She stated Sept 29th at 9am is when the interview is scheduled for.

Sept 29th 2008: Wife had interview. Medical exam was about to expire before our flight so we had to get another one. Mailed it in to the embassy and got wife's visa a few days later in the mail.

Oct. 20th 2008: Wife, daughter and myself arrive back in America. POE took a whole 10 or 15 minutes.

Oct. 21st - forever: Happy to be with my wife and baby girl.

Good luck everyone!!! Stay strong and don't give up!
