happy birthday and good luck at the interview. Remember, I75 closes at Clark Street, be sure to give yourself extra time especially if you will be going there during rush hour, it could get pretty ugly. As far as restaurants, there are plenty, i cant think of one in particular. Just go on Warren Avenue and I'm sure you will find one and make sure you do some grocery shopping and stock up on the arabic foods :)

For Arabic food, either Cedarland or Al Ameer. Both are located on W. Warren. I prefer Cedarland, personally. Why not have dessert afterwards at Shatila? It's a really cute cafe/bakery also located on W. Warren. I would also suggest a trip to the Arab American Museum but they are closed on Mondays, unfortunately.

ETA..also, if time permits, make a stop at Super Greenland on the corner of Miller and W. Warren. It's a large Mid Eastern supermarket with a nice butcher, bakery and deli dept. Your husband would probably like the selection.

Happy Birthday (F)

Happy early birthday and praying for a very successful interview, Tammy!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Happy birthday. I second Moody's choices....Cedarland rocks!! And so does Al Ameer. But the best place I found is Hamido...just down the road towards Shaeffer on Warren on the South side of the road. It used to be a donut shop so not very fancy, but the food is great!! It's fairly priced and pretty clean, but what I would call a diner. Not fancy at all, but the food is probably the best in Dearborn....try the mezza for two...a nice mix and plenty of food for like $22. The waitresses stink and have an attitude...but hey I don't give em a big tip if they pull that stuff on me and I go there for the food! I will probaly be going on Friday ...yum yum!
