Are you scared of spiders?

I noticed, that people are either scared of snakes or spiders.

Well, I am not scared of spiders...glad I am not, two irrational fears would be too much We used to have big azz huntsman spiders in our house in Melbourne. They were a little creepy though, they were the size of a pizza (ok, a little exaggerated)

I am not scared of all spiders.... as long as they don't crawl on me ..lol I am scared of the big hairy spiders though... ugh...

I don't mind them as long as they don't crawl or fall on me. And I LOVE that they hang out outside my windows, keeping many 'skeeters from getting in!

Just as an aside.... Squirrely-girl, have you had some scary dreams lately???

I don't mind spiders. There was a brown recluse in my house the other day and I had to kill it because I didn't want to risk getting bit and having a hole in my body. Normally I just leave spiders where they are.

The bugs that gross me out the most are

silverfish because they just look creepy

and cave crickets which we do get in our house on occasion especially in the basement

Not scared of spiders. But, maybe if a big, hairy tarantula crawls on me, then I might be a bit uneasy.

I am wary of the brown recluse though. I've seen pictures of what their bites can do so I'm extra watchful with them as they say we have plenty of them here in NC.

I hate spiders. Two summers ago we rented a cottage on the beach that was loaded with spiders. My oldest son wouldn't stay there, so we had to take him home. The 2 younger kids shared a room cos they were so afraid. It was awful! Needless to say, we won't be renting that cottage again.

I had a hairy-legged spider crawling up my neck and that started my arachnophobia.

I love taking close-up pictures of them though, I'm fascinated but I would not like them crawling on me.

I hate spiders, but do have a morbid fascination with them...personally, I think they're bred in the Pit.
