Tracking May '08 filers

Hi,

I sent my I130 on May 9, 2008 and paid the fee of $355.

And I sent mine on May 10, but sent it to the wrong place. They stamped my paperwork with the date of May 12 and had me attach a letter to send it to the right service center. So I sent the same stuff with the attached letter to the Chicago lockbox and had my NOA1 May 23 and they accepted my $355 without requesting any more money, so as far as I know It's still $355!

Update my I-129f. Our Notice date is JUNE 9. got hard copy of noa1 yesterday. Hope we could get approval soon!.ANyway, thank you so much for updating the track. God bless

LOL Thirds_jen I work in a retail establishment.. hence the hours. I don't mind i like having a weekday off I get Sun/Mondays off kind of cool... Anyway.

You a pessimist???? I hardly think so. and the weather can you say..... GLOBAL WARMING? At least that's what they're saying here. Do you know we are colder than Siberia now yeah washington state? Yep only place colder is the north pole. Urban legend? Perhaps. I don't care I still have to wake up to it every day

But the other day on the news, it did say that this was the coldest spring in Seattle in 90 years. Lucky us!!!!

Hay there neighbor!!! yeah awesome day!!!! i coudln't help but have a smile on my face.. plus I had my husband all to myself via msn cam most of the day... all the windows were open and I soaked in the sun!!!!!!! whooo o hoooooo i hope that bright ball in the sky stays some.

They updated the USCIS site with the processing dates! The weird thing is that they say that the dates they are approving now is Dec 18. I have heard so many people here being approved. Well I am talking about the CSC for the I129F and I130s. No new touches or words for me yet though. I check several times a day for updates. Best wishes everyone!

They finally updated it huh??? I'll check it out. I know what you're saying though it is weird that they say one and we see other things happening?? wow you've gotten a lot of touches??? we only had one and that was when I got the NAO1 for my I129f and they linked it with my I130... that's the only touch we've gotten......

OK from my understanding... (note I have only my NAO1) we are to wait for our NOA2 for either one... if I130 gets faster than we should go with the CR1 and should let it proceed we need both I129f and I130 if we're going to go K3. Before you decide wait and see what happens with your approval notices.

Congrats on getting your NOA1s now we wait unless we get an RFE than we do what it says but waiting is the name of the game now.

NO!!!!!!! You never tell them you are abandoning anything. You just ignore the other one. Or, as I am doing, I am proceeding with both. I am trying to get my I-130 through the NVC before my date comes up for my K3 interview.

Yours is more recent though! I am sooo looking forward to this NOA2! Ya know? (Mine could have been putting it online then linking the two together... I am not sure. it would be cool if we knew what each touch meant for sure.)

so... if that happens then it is not too long til the CR1 comes? I would love to not have to do the AOS and the EOD(employment petition)... I am willing if that means me and my husband can be together quicker, but if the immigrant one happens faster we can still get the same benefits? Is that right?

I NEVER RECIEVED MY NOA1 FOR THE (K3) I129F... TO THIS DAY I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED IT... WHAT I DID WAS 15 DAYS AFTER THE DELVIERY CONFIRMATION DAY.. I CALLED THE VSC AND SPOKE TO AN OFFICER AND TOLD THEM THAT ITS BEEN ABOUT 45 DAYS SINCE I SENT IT... AND LIKE THE DUMBASSES THAT THEY ARE THEY ACTUALLY DID SOME WORK AND LOOKED ON A COMPUTER (WOW!) AND THEY EASILY FOUND MY PETITION BY SEARCHING FOR MY BENEFICIARY'S LAST NAME AND FIRST NAME THEN THEY VERIFIED MY INFO AND THEY TOLD ME THE EAC#... I THEN GOT ONLINE ADDED IT TO MY USCIS PORTFOLIO AND VOILA... IT WORKED. (i did the whole online thing with the officer on the phone) THEN SHE APOLOGIZED SAYING THAT "IT MUST'VE BEEN LOST IN THE MAIL" BULL!

GUYS FOR REAL IF YOU REALLY WANT YOUR EAC#, THEN DO WHAT I DID AND YOU'LL GET IT...

hi all! quite new here.. i'm just going to add myself this list. I sent the I-130 April 30, but wasn't received till May 8 in Chicago. Since then, i have checked online to see if my check has been cashed. Sure enough, on May 15, check cashed. But i still haven't received my NOA1. So i waited and waited. Finally, May 19, i got it in the mail.. Said that the Received date was May 8, Notice date was May 13. It took 5 days to get to me? CSC is in southern california, where i'm from.. sheeesh.. I then signed up online on the USCIS website. Said there that my petition was updated May 14. That means "touched," right? i'm so clueless..

now i'm deliberating on whether to go ahead and file for a K3 or stick with this CR1.. don't understand too much of the CSC timeline and the Manila consular office.. any advise out there pls? thanks...

i hope you have your NOA1 by now. if not, please do not rely on the online thing..sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. If you do not have a NOA please get on their @$$es and get it. its good to have a proof.

I wonder why they don't tell us what the touches are about??? Like .. "reviewing app" or "RFE" or "approval" those all would be at least something.....

Anyway tried to log on to the site and it's down... yeah USCIS server problems... #######! I hope they don't lose anything else
