Jen, congratulations!!!! I'm so happy for you!!! I hope ours will follow soon!

By the way, the RFE Richard received is for his divorce papers. I130 didn't require it so we didnt include it in our first mail. It sucks that we have to wait again. I'm crossing my fingers it wont take another 3mos to have our NOA2.

Rajaa... both you and I got our NOA1 for the I130 on the same day... I am hoping we get it soon. My husband is supposed to cross the border to be here for the birth of our son a week from this Sunday... It would be awesome to have the NOA2 for either the I130 or I129F before then. I am kinda hoping you and I get our approvals at the same time or very close.

I have waited to post this until after midnight my time for the obvious reason. This whole process blows. I refuse to get into a K-1 v. K-3 battle because the pain is real for all participants.

For Rajaa, Shiri, couple0426, BirchBeer, shenxu and all the others whatever I say about the wait does you no good as the SC where you are has not adjudicated you fast enough. We were delayed three months by an attorney/para(s) that let our file sit unattended until I finally contacted the correct person. We have waited since the first of February to get to this point. Sorry deleted an additional paragraph rant.

Everyone at some point has made the statement "I'm having one of those days". August 2nd has been my day for several years. Three years ago one of my employees was involved in a wreck where lives were lost, very young lives. He called me from the road immediately after it happened and just before he passed out from the pain. I got to the hospital as the LEO's were trying to contact me regarding what had happened. Also just in time to see the doctor tell the troopers about the second fatality. To this day I do not answer the phone at work after 9:00 at night.

Two years ago I had an employee that wanted to change his position into the technical side of the business. I had lost a gauge operator the year before and that left me as the only certified operator. Got him trained and certified and we start our first job. On the fourth day after 13 hours we are wrapping up the days run. He and I are bs-ing about the day. I leave and don't get two miles down the road and get a call on the radio that he is down. I follow the ambulance to town. He had a massive heart attack but the airlift was landing at the airport and they were starting to get him ready to leave when all the staff was called to his er room. I never want to make that phone call to a spouse again.

August 2, 2007. I had an applicant show up at our business. We had hired him at the end of June but he did not come for his physical and UA. We called and he told us in an arrogant way that we could kiss his...... he was to good to work for us. So he shows up on the 2nd and goes directly to our scalehouse. I can see this building from one of my office windows. My assistant was down there and did not come out in a timely manner. I called down and she said she needed help. I go down and what I forgot is that in that building you can see the path of people approaching but cannot be seen from the outside. He's waiting for me and the rest is history. A broken nose, factured L4, three teeth knocked very loose that have amazingly reset, and a hairline fracture on the arm later he finally leaves.

What does any of this have to do with the visa process? Lao Po and I are on the webcam tonight. She has already gone through her August 2nd and is as beautiful as ever. I have not heard from any family members with bad news. I made sure all employees were home by 6 and I am still in one piece. We decide to celebrate as it appears the August 2nd curse has been broken.

So I dock the Zune crank up "One Week" and it looks like American Pie for a very short time. Problem is she gets busted by her roommates. I have neighbors knocking at the door wanting me to go out with them. So we are busted, caught red-faced and red-aszed. Of course I'm the biggest dork because they see me in China on the computer and the neighbors only see me. Can't get the blinds to completely matchup to eliminate the little place to see in/out.

So I guess I am done complaining about the wait. Had we not been separated tonight we never would have had a memory that we will laugh about til the end. Things happen for a reason. My reason is that I need to forget the negative past and concentrate on being the beset dork for my wife that I can be!

Good Luck to all here.

Good Luck to all here.

Thanks! August 2nd was better for you that is wonderful! I personally, with only 2 weeks left in my pregnancy, missed my footing and fell down the stairs. Luckily, I am ok.. but wow. lol... It was an interesting day here.

As for the quote I am showing here, lol, you are too cute! I love how you say "My reason is that I need to forget the negative past and concentrate on being the beset dork for my wife that I can be!" ;)

It is neat to see how men that truely love their SO can be. Mine was being exceptionally cute and sweet when I talked to him on the phone on Friday.

I am getting anxious to see what will happen this week. My husband will be going to the border to cross on the 9th and flying here on the 10th. LONG STORY... I am just getting excited to see what happens!

For those of you who have gotten approved, CONGRATS! And for those of you like me who is still waiting, hang in there, it is bound to happen sometime... (soon I hope! )
