I have been waiting for NOA1 since Oct '07. Check has been cashed on Jan 16 '08. When I enter EAC number from the back of cashed check at USCIS website Case Status online, I get "Case Status Retrieval Failed". Anyone in the same situation. What is the next step? Thanks for your help.

the last number on your check you should up it one more(add 1)....the last number in the case number on the back of the check is usually one number below the actually NOA-1 receipt....that is how it was in my case....might be the same for you...good luck...

I also did not get an NOA1 until I called them and the number on the back of my cashed check was very blurry so I couldn't make it out. All you have to do is call them and tell them that you never received it and need the number, they'll give it to you over the phone.
