Ok since I joined I have found this an invaluable site. Thanks to everyone for information, etc. Last time I waste money on lawyers for any of the process. I filed in Sept 07 got a

RFE in April returned it april 23 and they touched me april 28. Thanks to the forum I know what touches are now. Well anyways the RFE was for proper divorce papers for my fiance because the lawyer sent the wrong ones. I have been checking till this afternoon and still the last update was april 28. Up until an hour ago it was the same but changed just recently as updated May 12, 2008. Does that mean something may happen or is it just they are teasing me???? Someone with real experience tell me what you think?

Actually anyone with any experience even if it is not with vermont. i am desperate and getting tired of maintaining two households at present because of the delays.

it means that someone did something with your file...it may mean that your approval is coming (hopefully) or it may not...there is no real way of telling...just keep checking...also make sure that you click on the most recent touch, because your approval notice might be there

Did you actually click on the case number and see if the verbiage has changed? Have you signed up for email alerts (not that they always work, but still...)

At any rate, have a touch at this stage of the game seems like a good thing! I hope it means you're finally getting your NOA2!! Good luck!!

Got approval. Checked website this morning and was approved yesterday. Got email at 5:30am this morning. Filed in Sept. so hope this is a little good news for everyone. Thanks
