need some advice please, my friend from philippines married a guy from new york in nov. 2006. they married in hong kong. she arrived in USA may 2007. she has a child with him now. after her arrival she found out that he is very mental abusive to her and the kids. can she leave him and be legal and stay in USA

im sorry fwaguy , im not to smart on this kind of stuff . explain what you mean by her status. she has only been in united states 1 year this month but married to him for almost 2 years ????????????

Her immigration status...Does she have a conditional green card? On what kind of visa did she enter?
