Today, I recieved an email notice that both I-129F and I-130 were approved! I know this is just another step, but I could not be any happier at this moment. We did not have any touches prior to this. The online case status was changed to APPROVED on both applications.

After reading the email that said the notice was mailed May 9th, I rushed to the post office to see if by some miracle the postal service had delivered the hard copy, but no luck. You can bet that I will be checking several times a day for the next few days.

Congratualtions to all the others who have recieved thier NOA2. For those of you who are still waiting, please have faith, do not lose hope!

My thoughts and prayers go out the victims of the earthquake in China. I pray that the loved ones and families of all those on VJ are safe.

Wow!! Congratulations!! According to your timeline, you sent your I-130 in March and got approved in May? Holy COW!! I'm happy but I'm also Jealous that mine didn't go to California for approval. That's amazing!!!

:P Thank you to everyone here!! Since both of my CR1 + K3 approved the same time, I decided that I will proceed with both. I just want to go for the safest way. If my husband failed at K3 interview, we will have CR1 interview after that.

Thank you again and I wish everyone good luck!

I see that you guys have been approved on both petitions. What are you going to do? Which way are you going? K3 or CR1? I was approved on May 6 and I am really confused right now and don't know what to do next. Do I get to Choose or does NVC choose for me?

And something else.. What's written on your I-130 NOA2 first paragraphs? Mine says "The petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status. He or she should contact the local USCIS office..." bla bla bla. Did everyone get this? I am the beneficiary.. but I'm NOT in the US!!!!! What is this?

Before then, had you got any touches at all?

Congratulations! If only VSC was at the same speed...

Oh that is so great! I am so happy for you! If you didn't get an email and they didn't change your case status, how did you find out you were approved?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Did you called CSC?? did you used the RFE trick or the customer servce line? got any Touches recently??

can you please tell me?? Thanks

I got touced on both 5/8 & 5/9, but my status showed still pending. Due to the confusion address (2 same house # on the same street) I have in my neighborhood, I decided that I will call USCIS using RFE to confirm my address and make sure that they didn't send letter asking for more documents. The lady at CSC said, " Why you call? What do you want to send? Don't send here, because you are approved and your case will be send to NVC soon. I said, the status still shows pending and I don't believe you, can you please double check for me, because my further is in your hand now!" She said they don't have enough people doing update, because of the heavy load. To me, that's fine, just get all to work on approval sounds good to me.

Thank you to everyone here and those who helped me a lot. Also, I have just updated my timeline for both I-130 & I-129F now. Thanks again!

Yes, I got the message too.

I am going to proceed with both CR1 + K3, but we will hold on to CR1 and not send back any documents until few months later when the K3 physical file arrives in China. This is so that if my husband fails K3 interview, we know he still have another chance for CR1. I know this means we will be spending more $$, but getting the visa for him is more important. How about you?

So the same text is on your I130 NOA2? Can you please double chech for me? I would be forever grateful, because my husband got scared of the part "The petition indicates that the person for whom you are petitioning is in the United States " and I'm actually still in Romania :(( I am really scared something's wrong.... please help me

Uscis is saying that since both are approved I-129F is cancelled and I-130 is oly valid.... NVC says that it's the I-129F being sent to the embassy and I-130 is being held for future adjustment of status.... The embassy is saying we can choose which to pursue and I don't understand anything anymore :(

So please for my sanity... look and write here what's written on your I-130 NOA2... please

Hi, both of my i-130 & i-129f say that USCIS will fwd my files to NVC. It didn't say anything about my SO in US, because on i-129f, it even says that NVC will contact my SO in China when the consulate there receives the file. I wonder why yours is different.

Well, I am a little confuse here too. I am going to wait until NVC send something to me, but I want to proceed with both cases.

I would call and verify that with USCIS so that they will send it to NVC instead of you local office. It sounds like a box was checked wrong. That will be a big issue if it is not corrected
