Hello, I need your help on the question number 8 on the I-134 affidavit of support form. #8 Question is- The following persons are dependent upon me for support: Place x wether the person named is wholly or partially dependent upon you for support. My question is. do we have to leave this blank since we don't have children yet, can my husband include me there and put x on wholly dependent since I believe I'm his dependent now since I'm his wife and I'm wholly dependent on him for financial support. My husband thinks to leave that number blank and not list me there since he said he did not put me as dependent on his latest income tax. Is it right to leave that question number 8 blank and not list me there his wife? Thank you so much...you're replies are highly appreciated.

Be accurate and truthful at all times. Your name should be listed there, yes.

If the question were, "Who did you claim as a dependant on your last tax return?" the answer would be different.
