In O'Reilly's defense, very few people -- regardless of their profession -- start out at the top. Inside Edition is, if nothing more, a good "stepping stone" to other more prestigious positions.

I'm not sure why you consider the caliber of the programming to be any kind of "defense" for his behavior -- it's completely unprofessional and inexcuseable at any level.

Anyone who gets a network TV newcaster gig is doing pretty well for themseves... It doesn't mean they are a good reporter though, indeed that isn't really necessary when you have a team researchers doing the work for you.

Rank and file newspaper reporters don't make all that much money.

At the least, Mr. O attempts to be impartial on most issues, which is why I watch his show. Kudos... I would have to say that the OP is a "Pinhead!" I'm just joking using Mr. O's line from a segment of his show.

I agree very unprofessional. He's acting like a spoiled brat. I understand that maybe he was having a bad day and there was more to the story than the video shows but as adults we need to keep our temper in check.

Unfourtanetly you cant see the video on youtube no more "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by CBS Broadcasting, Inc" that is the message it reads when I try to view it. It seems cbs would welcome this video considering the things o riely has said about them, but then again they probably worried about being sued.
