DS-3032 was just accepted today! IV bill is ready to be paid... just have to get the extra money. :thumbs: My I-864 will be going out today via Express Mail USPS.

AOS can be priority mail rather than express mail and save some money for IV fee of $400 :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Received NOA1 from CSC with a date of 8/15/06

I-130 petition approved 4/16/2008 after 19 months.

Got IIN from NVC 5-13-08

Paid AOS fee online 5-14-08, Paid IV Fee online 5-27-08

Sent I-864 forms 5-27-08

Sent DS-230 forms 5-28-08

6-2-08 called NVC and msg says "received all information,processing will take 4-6 weeks"

6-13-08 called NVC, CR1 is complete, sent RFE for CR2. returned to NVC, waitn on result

6-26-08 case complete/approved. Waiting to be transferred to U.S. Embassy in Guangzhou, China for interview date

7-7-08 Petition forwarded to Guanzhou, China. Awaiting interview letter.

Hopefully we're less than 2 weeks away from "CASE COMPLETE"! Right now I'm at 22 days since NVC received my I-130 ... record pace so far! lol

Congrats to everyone who has finished the NVC process - and thanks, from all of us, to loto who made it all possible for the rest of us to rush through this process!

7/31/10 : Biometrics letter received - Appointment date of 8/11/10!

It all feels real now ..... just got my NVC case number from the 'very friendly and helpful' NVC phone folk .... I cannot believe how nice they are!!!

USCIS could really learn a thing or 10!!!

Still not on the automated system as the file has just arrived .... but at least it's really happening now ..... time to celebrate at last :dance::dance:

Am I the only one, or one of the very few, who sent the I-864 as soon as I paid the bill and then sent the DS-230 about 10 days later? It seems most people sent the two things awfully close together or even together ... I have to call and check if my DS-230 was "entered into the system" yet ... It arrived at 11am today so I'm probably expecting too much lol

I don't think it matters. They go to the same locations, but evidently different units. I would have sent my I-864 right away but I was waiting for tax transcripts.

I think from what others have said to me, a week is more likely when the DS-230 will be entered. :thumbs:

i caled nvc just now and spoke with an operator!

im so excited.. guys this is it we have come along way!!!!!! we r one day closer to being with our spouses!!

5-29-08 aos ACCEPTED

5-29-08- DS 230 entered in system

6-3-08-cse cmplte.

6-11-08 case left NVC to chennai via DHL

6-16-08 case reached chennai

7-2-08 appt letter received by beneficiary

7-4-08 medical done in chennai

7-28-08 interview- AP for 4-6 weeks (awaiting name chk clearance-told by chenai operator)

8-20-08 chennai forwarded file to DOS- according to inquiry from congressmans office

(also confirmed by DOS)

8-28-08 file reached DOS- told by operator

9-2-08- last update to case,told by DOS

12-12-08 emailed chennai embassy asking status of our case, and got email to send passport..

12-15-08 submitted passport to vfs

12-19-08 VISA ISSUED! in hand!

12-25-08 hubbys arrival! smooth POE!

1-16-09 green card arrives

1-27-09 SSN card in mail

They say, a watched pot never boils. I'm excited also, but too much excitement can't be good :dance:

It's hard not to watch the pot. I called again myself today :blush: . I guess since I got the the msg

"NVC is awaiting the return on the bio pg"... they entered my I-864 info, which they received 2 days before. Just waiting for the DS-230... but I'm told this will take at least a week. IF my case is send to the Consulate in the next 2 weeks, it will be a good thing. :dance:

Sent I-130 to TSC

Received NOA1 from CSC with a date of 8/15/06

I-130 petition approved 4/16/2008 after 19 months.

Got IIN from NVC 5-13-08

Paid AOS fee online 5-14-08, Paid IV Fee online 5-27-08

Sent I-864 forms 5-27-08

Sent DS-230 forms 5-28-08

6-2-08 called NVC and msg says "received all information,processing will take 4-6 weeks"

6-13-08 called NVC, CR1 is complete, sent RFE for CR2. returned to NVC, waitn on result

6-26-08 case complete/approved. Waiting to be transferred to U.S. Embassy in Guangzhou, China for interview date

7-7-08 Petition forwarded to Guanzhou, China. Awaiting interview letter.
