Hello All,

Just an Update:

Yesterday (6/26) i received the checklist mail from NVC.. Finally a hard copy mail from NVC.. Cann't believe it came that fast.. It just mentioned about the DS-230 forms, that they are waiting for .. But i have already mailed them DS-230 on 6/23. NVC received the DS-230 on 6/25 for the review process.. Let's see how many days they are taking for the completion of my case.. I hope if it completed soon, than we might get a date in August.. since MUmbai Consulate issues dates on every 15th of the month for the following month..

Nita, this was my timeline:

05/13/2008 : Mailed DS-230 to NVC

05/14/2008 : NVC received the mail

05/15/2008 : NVC entered into the system

05/27/2008 : NVC Case Completed

06/05/2008 : NVC Case forwarded to the U.S consulate

So, it is like 12 days from the entry to completion, Nita

I am waiting for the DS-230 to be entered into the system. NVC received my DS-230 on 6/25 for the review process.. I don't know how long it is going to take for them to enter.. I called this morning, they always mention, there i guess.. favorite msg.."it will take 2-4 weeks for the review process." After that.. i think.. i have to wait for the "Case Complete" phase.. Don't worry.. Nita.. you might hear case complete on coming next monday..

unfortunatly, applicants/sponsers from arab countries (or with arabic names) take longer due to more security checks than normal! But hope it will go faster for you inshalah.

During your time.. i think the NVC was working very hard.. see..only took one day to enter the DS-230 and now for me and many others.. taking like forever.. to enter DS-230.. I guess.. i am not patience person like your name says..

I received the AOS bill in the mail along with DS 3032 form, as you know I still have to receive a response from NVC on acceptance of DS 3032, Now I am making a backup plan and planning to email the DS 3032 to my wife in India, so she can print it and sign it and fax it back to me and then fax the copy of DS 3032 which NVC says I fax a copy of it or mail it. Right now i am just concentrating on getting Ds 230 before july 15 deadline so I can get the interview in august.

I was going to do the same about DS-3032 form previously. But didn't have too.. When i asked NVC about doing the way you will do supposely.. NVC operator told me.. you can fax the copy of DS-3032 to your beneficary but have them post mail to you rather than fax it back.. They won't take it.. I am just letting you know what they told me around in May 19.. You double check before doing this step.. I just didn't want you to loose your precious time if you decide to take this step..Check again with NVC..
