New Fastest NVC Process Final Version - 1.5

Loto and other VJ members,

My husband's DS-230 forms arrived to the NVC location on 6-24 but not to the actual review place for processing. How long does it take them to send it to the review place ?

Also, Like AOS, we have to write our case number on upper right hand corner on all the documents.. right.. i did the same in DS-230.. is that ok??

NVC mailroom.. when do they mail..?? I haven't received my Information and Instructions Package till this date..

it would take 7 to 10 days for the DS-230 review completion. You don't have to write case# on DS-230 documents like AOS. But it may be ok.

Forget about hard copies from NVC. After your interview completion, you'll start getting all those hard copies

Yes you can wait 1 or 2 days and then talk to NVC live operator. Actually, you can do it today.

Since i didn't have that package physically with me.. i didn't knew.. also i called the NVC operator and he mentioned to write the case number on DS-230.. so i did write.. I don't think it won't be count against..since it is our case number only.. but at the same time... i hope so too.. the review will be fine..

Oh Bani, everything was there in VJ. I just assembled all into a single document, that's all Also, added online payment system too, which was new (introduced in Apr 2008) and very few folks knew this!

I called the NVC about the DS 3032 and they are telling me that it is not in their system as of today and told me they process the email in order they receive it and told me to wait until early next week and give them a call about this matter as they it would take time and So I am going to wait till next week and see they received the DS 3032 request by then.

I have one more question, I can send the DS 3032 request by mail, i just got this idea right now. let me know

I did both for DS-3032 - electronic copy and hard copy. There is no harm in it. And I saw Nita also did the same.

That's good Chintan ! Actually, James Shortcut is not needed for the current NVC processing. James did an excellent job though, before online payment system comes into picture. However, some level of computer knowledge is needed to follow his steps.

Neetu still hasn't gotten her original NVC interview date letter (ie, the one with the medical fees, etc) ... So she's still waiting and will call the embassy tomorrow if she still hasn't received it. Luckily, her medical went off without a hitch using the scanned copy of mine - she picked up her medical packet today As per original timeline, she would have paid her courier fee today at VFS, but we're delayed by a week so that'll happen July 1st or 2nd ...

Yesterday (6/26) i received the checklist mail from NVC.. Finally a hard copy mail from NVC.. Cann't believe it came that fast.. It just mentioned about the DS-230 forms, that they are waiting for .. But i have already mailed them DS-230 on 6/23. NVC received the DS-230 on 6/25 for the review process.. Let's see how many days they are taking for the completion of my case.. I hope if it completed soon, than we might get a date in August.. since MUmbai Consulate issues dates on every 15th of the month for the following month..
