I called NVC today asking for my IIN and the operator told me she would give me the IIN but the online payment system is down. I don't know if it just went down now, or that it was never working?

She said you could try using it but can't guarantee it will work.

I will try anyway, but wanted to hear other peoples experience using the Online Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center

I am seeing the similar question 1006 times

Visaman, that's the standard NVC message. Once you get IIN, you can try logging-in to the site to see if they said is right or wrong. Good luck

Well, today My AOS fee showed as PAID!!! So I printed the Barcode sheet and I will send in the I-864 today. Also as far as the K3, today I also received the email for the Packet 3.

And it is a very good thing for us that things are progressing so fast!!!! My wife told me that she thinks that she is pregnant!!!! She said she did 2 home pregnancy tests and they were both positive. She has an appointment at the doctor tomorrow to confirm!!!! I guess when I visited her last month, it was a very good visit!!!

Good luck to your speedy NVC process I think you should hold K-3 path. What do you think ?

Well, my plan is to continue the K3 path. This way, I should receive the interview sooner that waiting for the I-130 to be complete. Then I will change the K3 interview to a CR1 interview. Also, just in case there is a problem at the NVC, I am covered.

Asking for orginial marriage certificate from beneficiary and the petitioner ?

Since, I am from India and we both have the same marriage certificate, so is it ok for me to submit just one marriage certificate or both of our's (even though they are same).

I spoke with NVC operator, she mentioned one will be ok, since both marriage certificates are same. But just wanted to confrim myself before sending the DS-230 packet..

Yes, there will be only one marriage certificate for beneficiary and the petitioner. Others will be duplicates. Yes, you can mail the original to NVC

hi even i am from india.. and my husband and i had the same marriage certificates we each had a copy. but what i sent in the i130 packet the copy of the marriage certificate is what i sent in ds230 packet (i sent the original one) hope this helps..!! so u do not need ur hubbys certificate, u can use yours..

Yes, there will be only one marriage certificate for beneficiary and the petitioner. Others will be duplicates. Yes, you can mail the original to NVC

Thanks for the reply.. Even i want to express mail it but waiting for my husband's original documents.. Also they have not reviewed my AOS package. Physically received on June 10th. They got on June 12th and saying will take 2 to 4 weeks to review them.. Let's see.. how it goes from there..

Bani, AOS is separate track. Their message is misleading. Your AOS will be completed in a week, if everything is ok.

Got our hard copy of NOA-2 today(17th june, my husband's time), we missed calling NVC yesterday at 7:30 morning .

Can I just vent out at my husband that he took 10 minutes to ask me again and again what he needs to enquire through NVC operator and then got late for work and blah blah blah :bonk: ......well I am just furious at him right now, hope to get to NVC operator later today at sharp 7:30am ETD.........you know what, I am going to make the call, not going to rely on him anymore

I just got off the phone with NVC operator and we got our case number, it is BMB2008****, so that means we are getting Bombay consulate, but I do remember specifically typing Chennai consulate while filling i-130, wondering if consulates can be changed or not? Operator did talk with her supervisor and said how we should call after 10 to 15 days and they will review if there was any mistake or not.

It won’t be of much problem but still Chennai is a bit closer for me than Bombay.
