Today, i called to NVC to check an update on my AOS package. The automated voice response said, "NVC is awaiting on the biographic data form from the petitioner, once this packet is received and allow 4 to 6 weeks to review all your documentation and will notify the outcome on this."

I am not understanding this.. So is my AOS package already entered into the system.. Than i spoke with NVC live operator, she mentioned it was received yesterday to us, allow 2 to 4 weeks for the review. The package itself was delievered on june 10th.

Once it has been entered.. what message will i hear in the automated voice response? or i have to talk to live operator everytime to get an update on that..

bani u will not hear an update for AOS.. u just have to call and speak with the NVC operator and asked if the AOS review has been completed, and if everything is ok..

then the biographic message means they are waiting for the DS230, you can call and ask if it has been entered in the system, after its arrival!

usualy AOS review takes a week.. so u have to make the effort to call and ask on the status of that!

good luck u will be fine!

Hi Hyd617,

Thanks for replying about my concern.. i will call on monday or tuesday to check on the review process..

I've been checking daily for my cases that I paid online at the National Visa Center. I would call almost daily also. This past monday, I tried to logon and couldn't, I received the following message:

Sign In Failed

Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error.

I called NVC and they would only say adminstrative processing, I would have to wait more time. OF course when I hear Administrative processing I became concerned, but I decided to wait and see, I called tues, weds... same thing AP... anyway I spoke with a woman at the DOS this morning and she said my wife's CR1 was complete, but was waiting on my son's... I didn't ask at that time, but I was happy... anyway I decided to call back and inquire about my son's... turn out I was waiting and waiting because I included my wife on son's I-864... the papers and instructions in some places seem to tell you to do so and in other places tell you not to. My mistake, but they told me they sent me a letter on June 5, I have not received it yet. The operator did tell me I could fill out another I-864 and send it in and he told me where to fill in... #8, yes #9 n/a #10 0,1 21a 0,1

I just fedexed the corrected one. hopefully, we can proceed to Guz soon. hopefully someone will avoid this little delay in the future.

Evidently, my wife's case was already completed because I got the above message (red). At that time and now I can still login to my son's case online.... so this is the indication his is not complete. It would have been nice if I had gotten more information when I called on monday.

CONGRADULATIONS!!!

Hi

I received my approval notice on 6.12.08 and now i have a few question which i am confused about and hope you can help me .

First of all by reading the fastest nvc document,

a.) I can call the NVC after a week I get the approval notice from CSC, so that means I can call them on 6-19 to get my NVC case No and IIN number.

b.) can I email the NVC about the DS-3032 (Choice of Agent form) the same day (6-19 ) or do i have to wait for the A0S feee to be paid. ( this is what confuse me)

c.) So after the AOS fee is paid I can then mail the AOS package to NVC ( in 2 days after fee is paid)

and another thing it say is to create a cover sheet DS 230, my question is what should be on the cover letter.

thanks in advance for the help.

Chintan, that was old procedure and they are true.

Now NVC has changed the procedure, so you need to submit PCC to NVC as part of DS-230

Finally, My AOS was invoiced. I almost did not check today because it is a Sunday. So I paid my AOS bill and sent the DS-3032 email. Now I am finally off and running.

I admit that I was starting to get worried. I called the NVC and asked how long it takes for the AOS to be invoiced online, and I got the standard response that the online system was not functional yet, and I had to wait to receive it in the mail. I know this is not correct, but I know some people were invoiced after only a couple of days. But all is good now.

Loto, I was going through your document "Fastest NVC Process Flowchart", I have some questions for you. Once I get the Approval Notice from VSC, I need to start preparing I-864 package which includes Affidavit of Support and AOS Fee Bill receipt. Is that the only thing needed from Petitioner's side? Rest documents will be submitted by Beneficiary at US embassy? The documents I am talking about are:

1) 2 Passport Size Photographs (2X2 inches) of the Beneficiary

(Write down NVC Case# and Beneficiary’s Full Name and Date of Birth on the back side of both the photographs lightly)

2) Completed and signed form DS-230 Part 1 by the Beneficiary

3) Completed and unsigned form DS-230 Part 2 by the Beneficiary

4) Photocopy of the Passport’s Biographic Data Page of the Beneficiary

5) Original Birth Certificate of the Beneficiary

6) Original Marriage Certificate of the Beneficiary and the Petitioner

7) Original 2 Police Certificates of the Beneficiary – One from the Passport office (PP Office PCC seems to be optional now) and the other from the Local District Police Station

Once AOS package is sent, rest will be done by Beneficiary?

Yash, Those 7 docs are for DS-230 package. Not for I-864 AOS.

I-864 package has your (petitioner's) tax transcripts, employment letter and pay stubs.

Actaully, beneficiary will mail all his/her docs to the petitioner in advance, so that petitioner (will act as agent) will mail them to NVC. This will speed up NVC process.

Good luck
