I finally received my papers today from the NVC to pay the IV fee. I'm glad I paid online 10 days ago

I'm hoping I get an approval next week.... keeping my fingers crossed

Loto, i have a question about VFS offfice visit that you mentioned in your timeline.. since we submitted the original documents here, than also the applicant has to go to the VFS office with the appointment letter.. today i spoke to NVC operator..she mentioned.. NVC will review all the orginal documents for you and you will get them back at the time of your interview.. once you get your appointment letter, you just have to go for medical.. I can relate to your case, because i am from Gujarat.. and my case will be at Mumbai Consulate..

Please let me know on this.. any information.. Helpful all the time..

Bani, you need to visit VFS office to pay courier fee, that's all. Yes, you need to show the visa appointment letter to them

Now it is very easy to get NVC live operator (any time of the day ) when the case is forwarded to the consulate. I think now the call has high priority.

The AVR message is - "NVC has completed the processing of this case and forwarded to the embassy/consulate at Madras on June 5, 2008. Please contact the consulate for further details..."

Now you would find the button on the online payment site that says "print cover letter" (I think it's there when you try to view your receipts) and print out both cover letters for the I-864 and the IV (DS-230) Packet ... You have to include these with the forms and documents you send in

Now you would find the button on the online payment site that says "print cover letter" (I think it's there when you try to view your receipts) and print out both cover letters for the I-864 and the IV (DS-230) Packet ... You have to include these with the forms and documents you send in

Technically, the petitioner fills out the AOS (I-864) and provides the proof required (it's in the instructions) ... The beneficiary is responsible for filling out the DS-230 - all 4 pages .. However the beneficiary ONLY SIGNS the end of Part I (page 2) ... They MUST NOT sign the end of part 2 (page 4) - this is sworn statement that must be signed in front of the consular official, to my knowledge.

in the NVC Website, It said "Mail all requested information (DS-230 Part I and the photocopy of the passport biographic data page) to the NVC." so i just confirm i need to send out the part II to NVC?

has anyone that has done the online processing get this message? I go t this message when I tried to logon to the DOS site for my online payment. I think there is a problem with my case now. I would have thought my case would have been completed now.
