I'm going to test drive the rx-8 this afternoon and a mazda 6 sport because my friend has one and it's quite comfy. Don't think I like the 6 too much but since I'm going to be at the Mazda dealership I might as well try it :)

One other thing about the RX-8's is that they are rear wheel drive. They can be tricky in the snow. That also contributes to the horrible gas mileage.

I have a smaller car that is front wheel drive that I drive on most days. I use it because it's good on gas and I will drive it until it dies and then get another similar cheap fwd car that is good on gas.
