mawilson obviously has a massive woody for the G8. I don't care where it's made; it's still a GM.

Now, if you want an "American" car that will TRULY give someone wood, get one of these...

Hmmmm...I've had two VWs and loved them both. I actually had a Eurovan for ages and we took it camping all the time. It got close to 40 mpg! Had over 250K miles on it when it just proved to be too expensive to repair (for me).

I'm not one to spend loads on "stuff" but I do take care of my vehicles and drive them as long as possible. So far I've had 2 VWs (lost one in the divorce!) and a BMW and I currently drive a Scion. My first car was a pathetic Geo Metro, but surpisingly I drove it for 6 years and got close to 150K on it! Never had a problem with it.

What about a Prius? They're very reliable and everyone I know who has one absolutely loves it.

And I think the SmartCar rocks :)

I would love to get a Eurovan camper version and take a road trip across America! They are the coolest of camper vans.

I have a great story about that PT Cruiser...it was purple with the wooden panels on the outside. One night we were driving in the middle of nowhere and lost...we thought we turned onto a road but it was really dark and he was driving along really fast and then all of a sudden we were airborn. When we landed I had gone from the back seat and was kinda hanging in the front seat and we all looked at each other and just said "let's do it again!" He hated the car anyways so we ended up doing it 5 more times and then a tire blew  We ended up having to sit and wait for a long time for a tow truck but it was so worth it. That's when he knew it was time to get rid of the gay cruiser.
