Well my friends i guess my journey is over.I found out Lea has along time bf that is living with her .He has been her bf for 10 years.Her parents do not aprove of him because he is a gambler and will not work.He has been living with her for about a month.After i got all my imformation. Lea findally came online and told me all of the truth about him and her.She told me she loved him and me.That she was confused and knew he would never give her a good lfe like i would.But she did not know what to do.Her parents found out he was living with her and have told her to never come back home as they are mad at her and will not talk to her anymore.I feel bad for letting her parents know about them living together but nothing i can do know.i asked her why she never told me about the bf and she say i didnt want to lose you.I asked Lea what was you gonna do when it was time for ur interview and she said she had hoped i never found out about the bf.That she was planing to sneak away from him and come to me after she got her visa and hoped he could not find her.Well my heart is broken in one thousand pieces now and i dont know what im gonna do because i love her so much even after all of this.

What do i need to do about stopping the K1 ?

Guess i will be leaving here in a few days if someone can tell me how to delete my profile i will delete it soon.

I believe you would write to the USCIS Service Center where you submitted the petition and notify them that you want to withdraw the Petition.

I'm glad you're not rationalizing her actions and I think you're doing the right thing. However, I hope that you will hang around our forum.

Anyway about stopping your petition. Ive seen this question before and I believe it depends on where your case is at. Has your case been approved? Is it at the USCIS level? If so I would call them at (800) 375-5283. For good measure I would also call the US Embassy in Manila and tell them you're cancelling your petition.

I can totally sympathize with this situation. Before I met Loterly I was involved with several pinays over the first 9 months I lived there. One of them was a former "juicy girl" (bargirl who hustles drinks from GI's) who had run away from her club and was working in a Korean factory illegally. I met her at a mutual friends house, we were introduced and I was really taken with her. She started visiting me on weekends but only at our friends house and I thought we had a future together based on our conversations and the time we spent together. We seemed to have a very good potential relationship. To make a long story short one of my American friends who was married to a pinay couldn't take it anymore and revealed to me that she was living with a Pinoy in Seoul in a "convenience couple" relationship (sharing rent, expenses, bodily fluids). The sad part was all of her friends and mine knew but nobody had the guts to tell me except my friend. Your fortunate you found out, when I confronted her with it, her choice was to deny it, and then stop talking to me. It wasnt Tampo it was her embarassment at me finding out and that her friends took my side of it. I feel lucky also because eventually Loterly and I found eachother and everything has worked out for the best. Take your time and get over this woman, don't give up on finding the right Pinay and things can and will get better. Im just sorry you started out the K-1 process and then found this out.

I see that you haven't received the NOA2 (approval) yet. Better call the service center where you filed and ask them the proper way of canceling a petition. You can always write them a letter regarding this but best if you'd call first so you'll know to whom your concern may be addressed.

Sorry that things didn't work out. Considered it as a blessing in disguise in a way that whatever she was planning to do was put to stop. You don't deserve to be cheated on.

im sorry to hear this.. but it is good that you found the reason why... I know its hurts you a lot... and maybe for you gf too... pray and offer your problem to God.. ask guidance, it helps to feel you good... pain will heal, make yourself busy and better to be with your good friends there... then time will come you are ok... i think you need time for yourself. and it helps for you to think and make a good disicion...

Sorry to hear about your sad story!!!

But you know what you are still blessed because yu discover it earlier like you dont spend much time and effort although you love her so much and you get hurt already. I'm sorry that this has happened to you. You just applied for a visa. What you should do is mail a letter to the Embassy with your case number on it (providing you already got your NOA1). Tell them you are withdrawing or that they should stop any action with regards to processing the k-1 visa. You will get a reply mail from the Embassy.

Cheer up. You'll find someone who'll love you unconditionally. Just be glad that you found out the truth. I know it hurts you a lot and right now you still have feelings for her. But you can't let yourself be fooled too.
