We better see some activity out of Vermont for IR1/CR1 filers...it should be a crime to keep spouses apart for this long! mostly because they can't seem to figure their s**T out.

anyhow, i am really hoping that before me any of you that are waiting from last year should be approved...I don't know what I'd do if they make me wait that long! i'd probably move to India!

For now, until they process our paperwork anyway, I will just get someone to sponsor her, my wife does not want to wait so long. This is our first marriage, and our first year married, and we have only seen each other for 3 weeks of that. We all had our ideas as to what married life would be, none of those ideas were to spend the first year or 2 apart. When we started this process we expected 6 months, that is what every lawyer said, 6-9 months total. Then the backlog happened. Now we dont know when we will be together. I love my country but I love my wife too. All it takes is a sponsor to do the I 864 so that is what we plan to do. I am going there in June for a week, we hope that we will hear something by then. But her idea of the married life was not be away from her husband for the first few years. Look at Jonbless, he is 10 months in only waiting for a NOA2. Another Brazil filer was 8 or 9 months for thier NOA2, its not fair for me to ask her to give up her life to come here if I am not willing to do the same. My marriage is more important than where i live.
