At-large Democratic National Committee member Vernon Watkins told The Associated Press in an interview Friday that he has decided to endorse Obama.

"The election is over, everybody knows that. Obama has won," said Watkins, a retired union member from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

Obama cannot come off cocky now. He needs to make sure that the last contests are played in a manner that it at least appears as if they matter. We all know they don't but he can't say it like that.

Hillary still has a plausible path to the nomination.

And, he is 40 points behind in West Virginia! You know how HRC feels about "big states" :)

Hillary still has a plausible fantasy path to the nomination.

Fixed the first obne for you. And WV is big only when you look at it through magnifying glasses. Her strong showing there will net her 5% of of the delegates she needs to catch up. And she's running out of contests to do that catching up. She needs larger gains and more open races. It's over. Ding dong!

What do you have against magnifying glasses? Are you discounting their point of view? Are you saying their opinions shouldn't count?

WV and KY should absolutely count. Proportionately, that is. And proportinately at this stage of the game, I am sorry to say, they don't matter much. The math is kind of stubborn that way.
